Correct. These should be legitimate 9-0 decisions, in my mind. And I believe there are actually THREE cases. To my recollection, each case, separately, was lost by the White House at the District Court level AND in the Court of Appeals. So the Trump White House is 0 and 6 on the cases. Yet somehow I am absolutely terrified that this SC will find a way to carry the Administration's water, most likely by delaying the release by throwing it back down the ladder with some order for additional fact-finding.

 

I agree. Regarding the almost universal assumption that this decision comes tomorrow...is this guaranteed? Is there anything the stops SCOTUS from simply not ruling and running out the clock until after the election?

 

I can sleep soundly with the lights on and tv blaring whilst laying on concrete yet if wifey needs her meds or a drink of water I'm instantly awake. Go figure.
