The matches are coming thick & fast (@YankeeGunner’s favorite expression these days) and so are other demands in my life, so please enjoy what's probably my most minimal opening post ever...

We’ve won 4 on the trot. Sure Leicester may have righted their ship yesterday but we can still do them for 5. Then we’re off to Spurs for 6!

Wasn't confident against Wolves, but even less so against Vardy and his shit-housery.
But we can get them, and imagine if we roll over the top of Wolves, Lester, Spuds and Pool over a 4 game window.

I am going for a 2-1 win here. Nketiah and Auba to score, Kola and Luiz to ******** up a set piece to concede.

I'm expecting a 2-2 draw, but really, really hoping for a win.

Haven't seen much discussion recently on xG, but this article states we have the 3rd highest xG in the EPL since the restart. Only trailing those two little clubs from Manchester.

    COYF'n'G!!!

    * - I prefer to call it that because basically it's built on the same shit football ground that the old piece of crap used to stand on. :)

Hmm, come to think of it you're right. Maybe xG has gone a bit out of fashion? ;)

    But more importantly...

The architecture firm that designed their stadium (as well as the Emirates) is Populous. I've worked with Populous on some US-based projects. I was tempted to ask them why they made their stadium look like a toilet but decided it might not go over well.

Dump on the NWHL all we want, and I agree the exterior and roof are unattractive, but I think the interior is excellent.

Meanwhile no Pepe in the starting lineup today.

Also, does anyone think Ozil will ever play for Arsenal again?

I was getting all worked up about us dumping on North America's only professional women's hockey league then caught the context...;)

No Maddison or Chilwell for LCFC today, which is good for Arsenal.

Well since it does look like a toilet perhaps we should bring some extra Charmin from home with us (if we could get it to clear through customs) because their new stadium looks like shit compared to ours. I guess every football ground and/or stadium or arena has to have its own unique nuances, but a toilet???

I guess from now on whenever one of their opponents scores a goal they throw a roll onto the pitch in a streamer-like fashion like they used to in other sports. Well, leave it up to a shit club to play in (what else!) a shithole!!! Hell, we've won the League there TWICE (1971, the first half of our double that year, and of course, in 2004, when we were Invincible).

Yeah, it looks toilet-ish, but if we're honest we're a little jealous of their new digs. However, we are thrilled to not have the debt-load pressure they must be under right now, during a global pandemic/recession that will last for a year or so.

Pepe's not even in the squad. Perhaps he's still on paternity leave, or else he just wasn't fit enough having just gone trough all that. (some of us know what that's like!)

As for Ozil, I don't know and I don't really care frankly.
