I will say although Mount gets in the way sometimes, him and Willian's work rate is important

I for one would like to know what Puli did in PA during COVID.

Gilmour might not want to look at his pass completion stats today.

Gilmour has a pass success rate of about 50%.

It's all the work he put in with Eddie Johnson back in the day.

Good save by Kepa for Kepa.

The goal was great. I think the gliding run and layoff to Willian was just as pretty. It's a shame he was not able to finish that and get the assist for Pulisic.

I want to see that supposed deflection on the first goal. Anyone have a clip.

Happy for CP to have scored but the keeper should frankly not get beaten from there...
That said I'm not sure I've ever seen him hit it with his left that hard?

Pulisic and Mount are an awesome combo.

It was off the Palace defender, I'm pretty sure.

Giroud deserves the goal, but I'd be happy to add it to Pulisic's stats. Regardless, it was a nice run at the end by Pulisic that gave Giroud the space needed.

Kepa has done nothing to earn this sort of excuse making. If he could make ANY saves at all then we might be more willing to accept that every goal is not his fault.

I don't think I agree, seen this saved multiple times by keepers who are good about covering the near post. I think your statement is actually much more true about Zaha's strike... despite Kepa indeed being bad and indeed having the worst save % of EPL starting keepers, I don't know exactly how much he could be expected to do about that one.

i know i am a mason mount poster but hearing him get all this credit when zaha had all the time in the world in the center of the field after villa carved up a setup chelsea defense has me scratching my head a bit

just a fun thought, but he missed a lot of time- he could easily be at 14g 10a

I think it's more accurate to say, CP kept the defender from being able to block the shot. It may not have deflected off of CP, but his position there was only going to help the ball go in.
