A couple poor decisions to give away the ball by Sargent. Didn't ultimately result in that goal however. Terrible defensive effort by Fullkrug, left them exposed. Serious danger now. Sargent could be the hero.
okay now it gets interesting.... I was going to say, please don't let this tie be decided by that own goal in the first 3 minutes...
Sargent off for a 31-year-old career 3.Liga defender. Understandable, but woof, Bremen's defensive depth sucks.
A singular event w/ Fullkrug being a stiff? Not an endorsement of him specifically. Haven't seen him play lately. But he looked like he was in quicksand. Selke wouldn't have just been run by. I'm good w/ the 2 fw tactic by itself. They've held some possession and gotten chances.
Well, that was kind of a fitting capper to Sargent's season--worked his butt off, did some good things, did some not so good things, but doesn't end up on the scoresheet.
I think his match was disappointing, although he improved in the second half. He’s much better facing up and running at the goal. But was getting physically dominated by Bundesliga II defenders with his back to the goal. That’s a concern.
Yeah, couple of silly giveaways. He was in a great position to score in the 78th but Rashica chose to shoot rather than pass. It was all downhill from there.
Good second half overall, though. I think he got tired and was way too often on an island 1 or 2 on 4 right before coming out. So frustrating to have to watch these last minutes...
There it is, Bartels creates an open goal opportunity for Augustinsson, to make it 2-1. At least it wasn't just the own goal, then. Whole team runs on the field.
