Ref is letting them play rough. Bremen need to adapt. Also, I want a drummer lady to follow me around!

Holy cow, if you spent your week hoping to find quality football you will have to look elsewhere. Dreadful game.

sargent gets a good look from 19 yards after some poor defending but doesnt hit it cleanly resulting in an easy save

He's having some problems connecting with the ball and looks a little sluggish.

Sargent takes an overly ambitious shot from the top of the arc after pouncing on a loose turnover. Not nearly enough on it, though. Then takes another shot to the head from these defenders.

josh playing with a ton of hunger, just cant get the rest right. wonder if his relative inexperience is showing here and he is just too 'up' for this one. its definitely not a lack of effort for him.

sloppy but beggars can't be choosers. just glad to get a chance to watch Sargent in a big game that's fairly open.

For those who think a sojourn in BL2 would be good for Sarge, I recommend they watch some of this defending from Heidenheim which would be an every week affair in BL2. No thanks.

couldn't tell if that clearance/perfect chip own goal was match-fixy or just bad defending by a guy who tried at the last moment to not do what he was doing. would be a pretty terrible way for them to go down if it were. hoping josh gets a few more chances. pretty cool he's starting this make or break game. pizarro hopefully gets a few minutes at the end as a farewell too. what a career he's had

Sargent hasn't been great, couple times he's been muscled off the ball. But both these teams are so awful I think you'd really have to look hard to pick Sargent out as particularly bad.

He's won a few headers, gotten beaten up pretty good, and put in some good effort.

Just not a lot of attractive play from any team or player at this point.

I ran over to watch the everton v MouSpurs and talk about a coach who has shattered a team and his reputation. The play is not much better.

Everton will be the funnest team to watch in 2021 if Ancelotti stays.

Josh has been rubbish. Would be disappointed if he were taken off at half, but would also understand it, unlike the choice to bunker & not take any chances at home against a 2 BL side.

let’s not make excuses. His teammates are getting him the ball but he’s a black hole of possession. It’s tough to attack when your number 9 is a detriment.

That knock he took to his back went right to his head. He'll be gone by 60 or earlier.

I started watching at about 20 minutes and agree with the consensus that Sargent hasn't done much good in that time. But yeah, it's an ugly game all around.

sargent needs to come out strong if he wants to play more than 15 or so more minutes

There aren't any defenders on Bremen's bench better at helping them defend a 2-goal lead (away goals rule). So he's not coming off unless it's exhaustion.

Heidenheim almost score twice in the first 75 seconds of the half as Bremen look unbelievably flat.

Sounds as though the game could use a Heidenheim goal.

Bremen loaded up on horse tranquilizers and turkey sandwiches in the locker room to take the edge off.
