    Kubo is doing well.
He has the best pass accuracy of his team and he's well balanced on his feet.
It's a pity that he's is too far from the RM area for any shoot attempt.

When Kubo has the ball RM defenders must fault him or he will never lose the possession.
He dribble even between 3 opponents the like of S.Ramos, two times this cost RM a yellow card.
Anyway as the spanish commentary said he's a superior level than Mallorca and deserves a better team.

He looks really comfortable with the ball. Looks real quality when dribbling but needs more patient to not overdid sometimes.

2 assists so far as Mallorca leads Celta 3-0 before halftime.

Take was clowning Atlético's defenders today. It was something quite remarkable.

Despite Mallorca's heavy loss, Kubo was easily one of the best players for both teams on the pitch.

The thing that leave me amazed about him is his toughness.
I mean: in Europe there were plenty skilled japanese footballers who could dribble, feint, outpace etc opponents but they always lack the toughness to resist hard tackles and physical challenge while this teen guy is able to withstand bigger (and top) opponents' tackle as it was a child's play.
This is and will make the bigger difference when he will reach the next level in his career.

Unreal what you can do with elite talent in both dribbling and passing.

Kubo appears in the La Liga leaderboards in several statistical categories highlighting the danger he creates:
    • Goal Creating Actions (2nd behind Messi)
    • Players Dribbled Past (6th)
    • Fouls Drawn (8th)
The GCA stat is particularly impressive considering the leaders mainly come from the top 4 scoring sides (Barça, Madrid, Villarreal, La Real) - Take has had a part in half of Mallorca's goals this season! Screen Shot 2020-07-07 at 10.13.30 PM.png

He scored his 4th league goal of the season tonight, as helped Mallorca to a 2-0 win and boosted their survival chances.

I really hope he'll jump on loan to a mid-table team. Something like Betis or Villarreal would be perfect.

Kubo ended the season with 4 goals and 5 assists, and Mallorca was relegated.

Next season IMO he should play for Villareal rather than Real Sociedad, since Villareal scored more goals in La Liga than Real Sociedad, and because Real Sociedad has better players than Villareal at the same position that Kubo plays.

For comparison, Mallorca scored just 40 goals this season, while Villareal scored 63. So Kubo will have the opportunity to improve his numbers if he moves to a team that scores more goals.
