It's not happening if Man City stays banned from Champions League though.

That’s right, forgotten about that. But something will be worked out in the lines of the ban will take place at a late or something in those lines. City literally has unlimited funds and during these times, money talks.

Remember where you heard it first.

Funny enough people were talking just a few weeks ago how Ocampos has taken him over in the NT. Paulo is an amazing player if he plays as a 9 he could be one of the best in the world.

Shame that neither Alario nor Palacios saw a single minute in the German Cup final... their talent continues to be wasted away

Well, it’s not like if they were currently at River they’d be getting any minutes, AMIRITE?!?

Lautaro’s confidence is completely shot and can’t buy a goal. During the first half he had his header come off the post for it to land to Lukaku’s feet for an open goal and he just had his penalty saved.

Lautaro was playing solid before the missed penalty.

Dominquez is an elegant passer. Finally it showing in Italy.

Ocampos should be playing right alongside Messi in midfield

I've seen Ocampos play a few times and I really like his energy, speed, and intensity.

I'm wondering if he can be an aerial threat too? I don't recall him scoring many headers, but he is tall.

That is something that our team has sorely missed for many years. I know it's not necessarily the Argentine style, but tall threats are critical in today's game. Especially on defense/set pieces. We have been burned a few times on headers...

Actually its one of their trademark goals. Argentina scored I think 4 or 5 headers in WC 1986 , 3 headers in 1990 (only scored 5 goals in whole tournament). In Copa 1991 Argentina beat Brazil 3-2 and all 3 goals were headers. WC 2010 they scored 4 headers.

Some short players are actually great headers such as Aguero , Saviola or back then Ayala and Pasarella , they're short. Its not all about height, but how you sneak between defenders. Aguero's header against France and Uruguay (Copa 2015) were good examples.

Lautaro was disappointing, but on the brightside, Dominguez was great. It’s good that Paredes finally has some competition for his spot. That might motivate him to leave PSG for a team where he can get regular minutes.

De Paul with a goal and assist. Both were lucky, but you can see how he drives the play for Udinese.

De Paul is another who should be in Argentina's starting XI for Copa 21

How was the goal lucky? And I wouldn’t really call that an assist. He shot the ball and it took a deflection, which landed to a teammate. Regardless, he is the engine of that side.

I think De Paul plays an essential role in Scaloni's formation. He's actually doing well in both NT & Udinese. Not talking about his last match but in full of this current season.

I honestly, hope that he can protect himself by staying in Calthio for longer period as I believe Italy is the best environment for a player like him with such qualities. Maybe if he would move to Laliga, then I guess Atletico Madrid with Simeone's system can be really smart move for him.

Serie A and La Liga just gift penalties away. You’ve got Penal Madrid who get penalties every single game and in the Serie A, both Cristiano and Immobile have scored 11 goals in the league this season. Atalanta were robbed of a victory today. They played some great futbol today.
