Apparently, WiFi is an issue in the Orlando MLS "bubble," as in it's slow and so far only two teams are on site. On a more serious note, here's the latest from Sam Stejskal via The Athletic, it includes the protocols for keeping the bubble intact. It doesn't state that the teams will be flying charter to an executive airport near Orlando. https://theathletic.com/1896181/202...ent-options-wi-fi-concerns-inside-the-bubble/
News: A second #Rapids96 player has tested positive for COVID-19.— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) June 26, 2020
The @ColoradoRapids depart for the #MLSIsBack tournament in Orlando on Sunday. Earlier on Sports Social, @FlemingSport asked team captain, @jacko_8, about their group opponents of Real Salt Lake, Sporting Kansas City, and Minnesota United. https://t.co/yhAgdVQYvQ— AltitudeTV (@AltitudeTV) June 30, 2020
It's here and it's beautiful.#Rapids96 | #MLSisBack— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) June 24, 2020 Schedule with Times (I assume Mtn time)
MLS has announced six positive COVID tests in Orlando. @samstejskal and I can confirm the below report that all six positives are FC Dallas players. (Silver lining: no positives for any other team in bubble.)FCD didn't train yesterday and won't train today. First game is July 9 https://t.co/Go6NJsWXx4— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) July 1, 2020
Written by Matt Pollard in Last Word on Soccer: "On a positive note, Last Word on Soccer can confirm the Rapids have since had three rounds of negative tests of all players and staff (minus the two players who tested positive last week). With the contact tracing and quarantining of the two positive test player, they appear to have controlled and prevented the spread of the virus." All FC Dallas players and staff now isolated in Orlando after six FC Dallas players test positive for COVID-19https://t.co/Ane3Kb9lor— Scott Bell (@ScottBellDMN) July 1, 2020
Seems to me like the group with six teams will now have five and the other groups get adjusted accordingly? With nine players out and practice etc. suspended that sounds like a scratch that just isn't official yet.

Sounds about right from my Business Travel, Hotels have replaced Auto Dealerships as the biggest rip off in town.
1278713032172957696 is not a valid tweet id Ike Opara will not be with MNUFC for the tournament. This makes our game against them in the group a little bit more interesting for sure!
Less than a week until #MLSisBack kicks off!Pádraig Smith will be live on Sports Social to give all the details before we head to Orlando 👇 pic.twitter.com/guapZruQ6w— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) July 2, 2020
I was really, really looking forward to Opara - Kamara match-up. It would have been a physical, emotional, and entertaining match up. Exactly the type of match-up players love. I like us to have the best players but I'm gonna be mad..... Kei now has the edge over their CB's.
10 MLS teams are in Orlando. Of those with players that have tested positive, experts believe that the players were infected prior arriving in Orlando. So the key question is whether or not the players in the bubble can stay free of infection or have they have been infected as they interacted with those that are carrying the disease? Glad the Rapids haven't left yet. https://theathletic.com/1907236/202...d-positive-tests-it-could-be-a-serious-issue/
Meet the eyes and ears of the #MLSisBack tournament!@rachel_vigil_ will be joining #Rapids96 in Orlando to give you all the behind the scenes content we know you want 🙌— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) July 3, 2020
Florida averaged between 617 and 1,096 new COVID cases per day during early June, and is now seeing between 5,004 and 10,109 new cases per day. Given the dramatic spike in Florida's COVID cases over the last week, I doubt that the MLS tournament will play to completion. We definitely live in strange times. I hope everyone on here is staying safe and doing well.
Just heard the same. FC Dallas continues to get hit hard by COVID-19, and all players have now been isolated without training for several days. First game coming up in just a few days unless MLS postponed to a later date. https://t.co/qvcJd2bHpE— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) July 4, 2020
A preview of our group. Not sure I agree that the Rapids are least likely to advance and would "shock the league" if we do. I think most teams recognize we aren't the normal rapids team and this is just a lazy analysis. Doesn't mean we advance, there are some good teams in our group. But, I wouldn't be shocked if we do (particularly with FSL falling back a bit and MUFC missing Opara) https://mlsmultiplex.com/2020/07/04/mls-back-group-d-preview-even-group/
