    St. Mary’s
USA “TV”: NBC Gold 1pm ET

We are a pile of hurt these days, both literally (serious new injuries) and figuratively (short supply of philosophy, quality, attitude, luck, points, contract renewal skills, etc, etc)

And in this context we take a trip to the South Coast to take on a team who has successfully resurrected itself from the dark days of last Fall, and who, if they win, could jump 4 places to equal our current 40pts.

40pts... with 8 games to go... that says it all. At least we've already hit the magic # for avoiding relegation. And so NBC has rightly kicked us off of regular TV, onto one of their few streaming slots during the lockdown run-in.

I wish us luck! Good luck that is... we seem to have cornered the market on bad luck in 180 mins of footy.

Martinelli: whoa didn't expect that! :(
    Mari: no surprise :(
Leno: great surprise, great news for him :) but we won't see him back as #1 til next season earliest

Any rumors about which players were quarantined for the last games?

Well can you blame them? Arsenal aren't simply losing they're not even playing attractive ball.

Plus Burnley we get to see if Burnley has another insane fan-sponsored banner above their game!

Damn, Xhaka already back in the starting XI. Thought AMN might get a run out in midfield. Who is Smith? Smith Rowe is still at Huddersfield, right?

It figures that I'm actually working from home during a midweek match but I can't watch it. On the bright side I get to wear my jersey!

    C'mon you Gunners!

Same. Had a zoom meeting the same time as the City match last week, that was probably for the best.

Is this a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3? If it’s a 4-3-3, it’s not a Pep inspired 4-3-3. I don’t see these midfielders occupying the channels between the fullbacks and the centerbacks, or with the exception of Saka, making runs into the box.

I was hoping "Smith" was Alan... making a comeback for the ages. ;)

Matt Smith isn't he the actor who did the best Dr. Who in recent times?

Anyone have a stream? Been so long since I've needed one I don't even know where to look anymore with all the Reddit ones shut down.

I missed the first few mins because for some stupid reason Roku required me to reactivate w/ a code, login with my Gold account (which I had to lookup). But streaming is so so much better than TV which you just turn on and it works. ;)

p.s. I only see one stream available in my NBCSports app on Roku. THere is no alternate with "natural sound", which I had really been looking forward to. I guess NBC can only deliver that if there's only one match per slot? :(

p.p.s. Auba just hit the bar and my stream crapped with "Loading..." What was I saying about streaming?
