Feel bad for GK and Lee. Defenders aren’t helping GK who kept them in the game for so long and players around lsw are terrible. He was the only one contributing offensively when given a chance. Keyword is “when”. His teammates who should pass it to him instead opted for long balls to wingbacks or pass it straight by lsw and directly towards the strikers who can’t hold up the ball or do first touch passes. No doubt in my mind there are players in the K league might be better than the players in STVV.
So he had at least 6 first touches that led directly or indirectly to turnover, including right outside his own penalty box, two poorly timed tackles, many bad passes. On the sort of plus side, he has a frantic playing style which could be mistaken for speed and initiative.
Right way for athlete to react for benching, told directly that he "is not going to get any playing time" (coach Brown of 76ers to Shake Milton (February). Shake Milton doesn't complain, though disappointed. Less than one month later: Ben Simmons goes down and Shake Milton gets playing time. Scores 39 points in one game, including hitting 14 straight 3-pointers over 3 games (NBA record). Then there's LSW way.
Lest not forget his goal got exemption for SHM Day 9: The goal that won Sonny and so many others military exemption. STVV has a new manager. Kevin Muscat, who managed Melbourne Victory FC, has a respectable record for his previous team. But we will see if LSW decides to leave Belgium
[Sports Seoul] | Lee Seung-Woo received strong interest from a KLeague team that tried to convince him to play in Korea. The team (company-owned) had the financial power and motivation to complete the transfer. However, Lee expressed his desire to compete in Europe.#KLeague pic.twitter.com/BWI3wYNN6b— Jason (Hanshin) Lee (@Jasons_JaysHub) June 18, 2020 hope he can somehow replicate daichi kamada and go from stvv to a top league by 2022. i wonder which k-league club it was
Good to see that he is inspiring other youth in Korea. Hopefully one day he can go play at a high level once again. He has the talent, just needs a better mentality
I'd be interested to see how he does with the new Aussie manager before coming back to Korea. Give the kid some minutes and see how he does. He can't survive in Korea after being in Europe for this long.
Played in a scrimmage game on as a sub. I think he got an assist? And had a chance to score a PK but GK saved it
