Angela Merkel announced this morning that the restart date for the Bundesliga has been delayed from 15 May to 22 May.
With Merkel giving the final go-ahead today, the Bundesliga will be back either next weekend (16th-17th) or the following weekend. Wondering if Fox will put matches on its main channel for the sport-deprived populace in addition to FS1 and FS2.

It's funny they're sticking with the Monday game as it was originally scheduled because Leverkusen was in the Europa League the previous Thursday.
I reckon that they will continue to spread out the matches so that there are games being played 5-6 days a week. Even though alot of people are back to work in Germany, there is still a lack of fun things to do on weekends and evenings. Gives people another reason to stay home. So makes sense to have matches on most week nights. Especially since games are played behind closed doors.
Not a official announcement by La Liga but hopefully is true https://www.livesoccertv.com/news/33901/la-liga-officers-agree-on-date-to-resume-2019-20-season/
Future generation: "Dad? Was it scary living during COVID-19 time?" "A little, son. But there was also a bit of good that came out of it - the 3pm matches could finally be shown in the UK because of it!" England’s Premier League has dropped its opposition to lifting the long-standing 3pm match blackout https://www.tvbeurope.com/media-delivery/premier-league-drops-opposition-to-3pm-match-broadcasts SA soccertvblog.com
Portugal's Primeira Liga (Liga NOS) restarts June 3rd. Rounds are spread over anywhere from 3 to 6 days (except last round on July 26th). All the matches are now on the Calendar page - SA www.soccertvblog.com
I wish these would air somewhere other than gol-tv. I would definitely check out a few matches per round if given the option.
Austrian Cup final will be shown live on beIN Connect 4 Friday at 2:30 pm. (Red Bull Salzburg v. Austria Lustenau) The match will be shown on beIN on SDD at 8pm that evening
So the English Premier League will be back on Wednesday June 17 with the teams having matches in hand due to earlier rescheduling playing those matches, and then a full slate starting Saturday June 20 with the season concluding August 1 and the FA Cup Final being played August 8. Also La Liga is returning June 8, 11 days from today.
Italy was given the green light as well. Looks like Germany starting made everyone else get going. And England restarting really forced everyone else’s hand. France will come out the loser in all this.
Wonder what % of these NBC will be showing on non-paywalled networks? Could be pretty cool if they just run it constantly.
Spanish La Liga have announced dates & kickoff times for the first 2 rounds of the league resumption. All matches now on the main Calendar page. As announced earlier, Sevilla vs Real Betis will start it all on June 11th. Season ends July 19th. SA www.soccertvblog.com

And Holland. Really unfortunate that they didn’t finish the season. Then again, quite possible France and Holland still get the last laugh. Well, not a “laugh” but you get my drift...
Not likely as long as each league follows the German protocols. Germany has had no issues after almost a month of games.
Didn't Dynamo Dresden have to be quarantined for two weeks? I wouldn't say they had no issues. But, yes, its gone pretty well. Then again, the COVID situation is alot better in Germany than England. Even today the situation is worse in England that it was in Germany at any stage of the outbreak (judging by the # of deaths).
All setting up nicely for the resumption of CL around 8 August, except for PSG. Sorting out next season is gonna be messy though.
Late start to 2020/21 seasons with Euro 2020 being played in summer of 2021 and then we have the 2022 World Cup being played in the winter which will disrupt the 2021/22 seasons. We are not going to go back to "normal" anytime soon. A second wave of COVID-19 (god forbid) in the fall could make things even worse - although it's hard to imagine HOW much worse it can get...
