Looks like there's enough sources to post it. Cyle Larin is linked to CSKA Moscow who submitted a bid to buy him from Besiktas. The club plays constantly in Europa League Cyle Larin, will play for CSKA Moscow according to this article by @YanniRamone https://t.co/95vJv9bBhd #CyleLarin #Larin #Besiktas #Beşiktaş— Turkish Soccer Pundit Ahmet Bob Turgut (@turkishsoccer) June 2, 2020
CSKA is more a Champions League club, although this season they look more likely to go to the Europa. Larin could do a bit better than the Russian league, though, IMO.
If I were to make a list of clubs in "bigger" European leagues that I wouldn't want a player like Jonathan David to go, Newcastle would be near the top of the list. They do not have patience for development at Newcastle. Indeed, the perfect step up for Jonathan David would be a Bundesliga club or a Champions League caliber team from France, Holland, etc. The US just had their starter from the U20 World Cup sign with Norwich. Why? Nobody can figure that out. He wanted out of Hannover in Germany, and that's the move he got. I hate it with a passion of a thousand suns. We also have a youth international defender at Norwich, Jonathan Tomkinson. As I've said, the challenge for Canada is not the talent at the top. The challenge is the depth of talent. That's where a team like Mexico has an advantage over the rest of CONCACAF. Its not just Raul Jimenez. How good is the 5th best Canadian central midfielder? Mark-Anthony Kaye (who I like quite a bit) gets injured against the US in the Nations Cup. Who are you bringing off the bench? The game seemed over when Kaye went off. The US brought a Bundesliga starter off the bench when they needed a central midfielder in that game.
For me Canada's squad for Gold Cup 21 should look like this: (4-2-3-1) GK- Milan Borjan LB- Zorhan Bassong CB- Derek Cornelius CB- Amer Didic RB- Zachary Brault-Guillard CDM- Samuel Piette CDM- Stephen Eustaquio LAM- Alphonso Davies CAM- Scott Arfield (captain) RAM- Junior Hoilett CF- Jonathan David Bench GK- Max Crepeau, James Pantemis LB- Kamal Miller, Sam Adekugbe CB- Joel Waterman, Doneil Henry RB- Richie Laryea CDM- Mark Anthony Kaye, Liam Fraser RM- Jonathan Osorio FW- Lucas Cavallini, Cyle Larin

He's Canada's starter with Cornelius at Centre back in my opinion Tomorrow, DM Stephen Eustaquio will be back in action with his club Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal. He's the "Now & future" at midfield for Canada and Atiba Hutchison's replacement. He's on loan from Cruz Azul
According to this, Alphonso Davies has the 9th highest value in Europe Alphonso Davies is the 9th most valuable player in Europe (€133.5m), according to a new study published by CIES. pic.twitter.com/3Binrclh6C— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) June 8, 2020
He is there. He's #15 valued at €107.3m. Remember: it's a European list, they use European characters. So Pulisic is Pulišić and Haaland is Håland.
But back to Canada...the format change for the 2022 qualifiers should help Canada but if anything it will probably hurt them more than help them
Ummm....have you been paying attention? If the current format stayed the same Canada wouldn't qualify for the Hex as things stand right now. The change in format gives them an avenue to continue their quest to qualify for WC 2022.
Great news! The 21 years old forward Charles-Andres Brym is being loaned from Ligue 1 Lille to Belgium Jupiler league to Royal Excel Mouscron.
