    Wasn't me.

There was already one example where this happened, be it with paint balls, but they still shot at people..sitting on their stoop. The tweet is upthread somewhere.

Black businesses have already been attacked. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the "wrong" businesses.

Has anyone been able to figure out what the hell his sycophants 2nd Amendment rights have to do with the protests in American cities? He wove into his "speech" some nonsense about protecting 2nd Amendment rights. WTF did that have to do with ANYTHING?!

  5. Don't think so.
Seems things are taken for granted the way they are that in my opinion my wondering/not taking things said at face value should be something to reflect on.

I've known for ages. I have a family member who is a state cop. His wife was police chief in their tiny town a few years back. She kept messing up that when she totaled a cruiser (her fault) and was fired for it. He and his brother (who is an ex-Marine) threatened the mayor with violence, lawsuits, and defamation.

Oh, and despite being in one of the major newspapers, said state cop is still a state cop unsurprisingly.

I saw a report on the internet that summarized POTUS' remarks and said he referenced the Second Amendment.

    Is that true?

    EDIT: OK, apparently he did.

Folks, we're at DEFCON 2 now. He is instigating Boogaloo.

    That’s just red meat.

I was there in Baghdad at the beginning. You know what every Brigade Combat Team (BCT) did? We confiscated every weapon we saw. I personally inventoried them at the end of every patrol.

All these 2A nuts that are vets....if they’re honest with themselves, they should be very VERY concerned if a BCT shows up in their town.

    Unfassbar

Rarely seen Anderson Cooper so pissed. He is unloading on Trump and Jim Acosta is in no loss of words.

Apparently this Orange moron didn't like the Bunker meme and wanted to stretch his " muscles" and show he in in charge.. So he he had peaceful protesters rear gassed and pushed out of the park. This is truly the theater of the absurd.

On a related note, I wonder if there is a legal case here for the protestors. It is clearly a violation of their first amendment.

Probably didn’t ask God if he could use the Bible as a prop.

I would interpret that as a difference of opinion on a scientific question, with the timing of the new version perhaps affected by a hurry up on the tox screen and maybe tissue samples, and maybe a standard review by other pathologists? Isn't it usually the case that there is a preliminary report and then a final one when all the lab work is done and any questions researched.

And remember the preliminary report (if I'm right and that is what it was) was quite sufficient to bring charges. It isn't like it said "suicide" or "OD" or anything. Even if it was soft-pedaled a bit initially there's no reason to see corruption there as opposed to a hope to keep a lid on the city long enough to get final results. There's plenty of motivations available besides "Protect the cop"-- who wasn't, after all. very well protected even if-- if-- there was a little nudge to the scales.

Nobody suggested dropping the charges or that he shouldn't have been charged at all that I heard.

And the delay in charging the others seems to me understandable in terms that at least one of them is entitled to some break-- lesser charge or lesser sentence-- because they tried to persuade the others to worry about what was going down. I'd want to know who and how much on that before I filed.

The whole point here is "Do in haste and repent at leisure" isn't it? Not encouraging lynch mob thinking? There's oodles of time available to decide this guys fate-- and consigning him to it instantly won't correct the actual problem.

Vengeance is noise. Progress is music...

I left before the following Sunday, TBF, I was already on my way out. The cop revealing that he "made" his wife get an abortion because they weren't in a position on his / her incomes to support another child... Ummm adoption?

I've worked for ten years where I am combatting anti-native racism (low level), but I don't have the strength anymore. 3.5 years of this shit has burned my faith in humanity to the ground

He's trying to call the Brownshirts out to shoot people for him so that he can impose martial law. And shoot the same people.

General Russell Honore is unloading on Trump on CNN. As he said, he thought he was watching a scene from Turkey, not from the US.

Nope. There were in Lafayette Park in front of the WH. That part of Pa ave is closed to traffic as well.
Beyond that, this is not the way to proceed in a democracy where protestors rights are protected by the first amendment.
