Well, at least he's safe from infection. I suspect he's been doing a lot of social distancing of late.

Every time I see this thread bumped, I think Freddy is retired and each time I ask , someone gets bent out of shape but what the heck, I'll ask again...

So is Freddy retired for good now?

Nope but nobody wants him. He's coaching kids in Baltimore.

Perhaps the best game of his career?

That 2007 U20 WC team was fun to watch (Adu, Jozy, Szetela, Sizzo, Bradley)

Now we know why he never covered much ground.

Ah yes. He’s been injured for the last decade and never mentioned it.

Well it's a good excuse for failing everywhere he went.

You clearly don't understand. Freddy didn't fail every club he went to. Every one of those clubs failed Freddy!!!

His coaches, all of them were immediately fired they were so inadequate. Now, coaching himself, he has found the way forward!

I wonder if Freddy Adu ever does go into management how that would work? Would he fire himself? Would the owners step down weeks after he takes up a new position at a club? Could be some interesting stuff there...

Probably better than he did as a player. Usually average or not great players make great coaches....

Never. Hard working scrubs not failed child prodigies make great coaches.

Adu won an MLS Cup. Not really a failure.
