Ha. If 230 is revoked sites will be held accountable for what is posted on their platform, meaning sites will be even more strict on what can be posted.

Yup, I've been railing against the chan sites, facebook, twitter, youtube for giving racists and the alt-right platforms to spread their word and grow their numbers. Revoke 230 would force them all back under their rocks and incredibly hamper their outreach.

 

Lots of bullshit out there for sure.

It will not only be right wing people that would be pushed underground, lots of crazy on the left is out there.

Sure from my POV less than on the right, but it is there.

Trump did to drone attacks what Florida and Georgia have done to COVID-19 deaths. Pretended they didn't happen by not reporting them. That seemed to work out pretty well for him as a tactic.
