The women`s Euro is planned to start in 16 months. I don`t think it should be a big problem to postpone it and start one or two weeks later. If women`s league games and Champions League games will be cancelled UEFA should consider this anyway.
Supposedly UEFA wants to postpone WEURO to 2022 if men's Euro would be played in 2021 Am told the Women's European Championship which is due to be hosted by England July 11-Aug 1 2021 could move to 2022 with men's Euro 2020 looking like being postponed to 2021https://t.co/ppBNbTjmpt— Rob Harris (@RobHarris) March 12, 2020
I don't like that idea. I believe they could fit in both Euros in the same summer. In 2017, the women's Euros started in mid-July and ended a week into August. The men's Euros usually lasts a month from early June to early July. There could be a one week break between both tournaments. I hope they go for that solution if this year's tournament has to be rescheduled.
Yeah, there's no reason why it can't be held in the same year, apart from an overload of soccer (can there be such a thing?). I think the two tournements would have a partial overlap in fans. How big is anybodies guess.
I can get UEFA decision on some level. It's highly doubtful that fans who would want to travel for both tournaments could afford it - time wise. If said tournaments would have been held one after another, a 6-7 weeks of hollidays is rather out of the question for a traveling fans.

Thanks! Look forward to the October and December games between Italy and Denmark, praying to avoid any threat of a second wave of the virus this fall and hoping Italian girls will manage to adequately prepare for these key-games (we've seen in the games from 2019 that they use to need full fitness and support from the home-fans to give their best).
One of the "funniest" thing is some teams who had the home advtange for the last big games in the qualifiers have lost it due to teir away game being postponed to a later date than their planned final group games in September.
We are about a month away from the restart of the qualifiers in mid September. As mentioned earlier in this thread, a bunch of matches have been given new dates and the group-stage is now due to be completed before the end of the year (unless the virus spirals out of control again..). It might be appropriate with a recap and the new dates added in the fixture list set-up. UEFA have updated their Euro qualifiers rules to deal with the Covid-19: Minimum number of players down to 13 including one goalie. Games to be postponed if possible. The big problem is there are not many dates available to reschedule any potential game. UEFA have just moved 6 games from Sep 20 to Feb 21 for example. If the games cannot get postponed, the disciplinary system comes into place. If one team is declared responsible for the game not going ahead, they forfeit the game. If no team is responsible, it will be a draw of the lots with results being 1-0, 0-0 or 0-1. Can you imagine North Macedonia beating France, Kosovo beating the Netherlands or Latvia beating Sweden. Well it could happen now.
Matches cancelled in September: Azerbaijan v Moldova Finland v Portugal Cyprus v Scotland Azerbaijan v Spain Cyprus v Finland Scotland v Portugal (Scotland matches rescheduled to Feb 2021) rest of September matches on schedule here: https://www.uefa.com/womenseuro/matches/2021/qualifying/#/mt/2020/09
With the whole tournament postponed a year, there should be plenty of extra dates available. The World Cup qualifiers shouldn't start until September next year anyway (I assume), so there will be no overlapping if games are scheduled before or during the summer. A number of games could be played during the international break normally scheduled for Algarve Cup.
Skipping it causes less damage to the credibility of UEFA as the organisers. This is so stupidly obvious chasing money MO.
During the next international break Czech Republic and Poland will play each other twice due to prior rescheduling of matches, which is fairly rare for two teams. It's also the most important two matches for either teams qualifying chances.
Yes. From a neutral point of view, I think the POL-CZE doubleheader is the highlight during this international week. The fact that Spain are also in this group adds extra spice to the importance of the outcome. Switzerland-Belgium is also a big game for leadership of Group H, but there is no third team who can threaten them. Same goes for Iceland-Sweden in Group F, which I look forward to. No third team lurking behind. Sweden don't have Lindahl, Glas and Rolfö for that game, and it will be interesting to see if the Dottirs can cause them problems at home.
Blackstenius is also not 100% according to Icelandic media though the Swedish coach is optimistic that she will start. If not, that is a serious blow to the squad. Nonetheless, Sweden is always formidable and the Icelandic record against Sweden isn't not that impressive. This would be the first time since 2013 that the two squads meet, then Iceland met Sweden in the quarter finals in the Euros held in Sweden. That game ended in a 4-0 win for Sweden. Iceland will be without Guðbjörg Gunnarsdóttir, Sif Atladóttir and Fanndís Friðriksdóttir, but there are some exiting young players, like Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir, Alexandra Jóhannsdóttir and Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir who will get the chance to show themselves and who Icelanders have big hopes for in the future.
Update #WEURO2022 Qualifying@MundialesyCopas @JueganEllas @SilkFennec @WSoccerPlayers @WorldWSoccer Italy v Israel match has been cancelled due to lockdown in IsraelThe game was due to be played Thursday— Wosoworld (@karlyboy71) September 13, 2020
The UEFA website has all those games postponed not cancelled actually. Hopefully, they will be rescheduled. Because if they were already cancelled, the associations would get through the disciplinary process as previously mentioned: If the games cannot get postponed, the disciplinary system comes into place. If one team is declared responsible for the game not going ahead, they forfeit the game. If no team is responsible, it will be a draw of the lots with results being 1-0, 0-0 or 0-1.
The Euro qualifying week starts today. Unless there are more postponements, we will have 28 matches played between today and Tuesday night. The following three matches are scheduled for today: Group B - 16:00 CET: Bosnia Herzegovina – Denmark Group F - 18:45 CET: Sweden – Hungary Group F - 20:45 CET: Iceland – Latvia Streams might be available somewhere in the darkest corners on the web.
