Don't know why at this point but I guess I expected better out of an educated person with a good job (probably not for long) not to pull that hysterical crap. Again, I have been proven wrong.
An "education" just generally means that you've learned to hide / suppress your racism until its socially acceptable to show it, in my experience
Well, I think it's only possible in a in many ways still segregated society. Everything is to be lead back to the insane notion of freedom as the situation you only matter, whatever impact it has on others.
... and I just saw the video of a Minnesota officer with his knee on the neck of a handcuffed man (in front of a crowd of people begging him to stop) until he died so there goes today.
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-amy...bMAsQVe6SHmvOX3esAq-Ay7shcconGpghFk_WrULP6FMA Someone named Jax Cooper has started a GoFundMe for Amy Cooper. The wording is a hoot... I know you’ve seen the video all over social media. I know you’ve seen all the “Karen” memes but what is happening to Amy is too damn much! Amy was having a wonderful time with her dog when a male Karen couldn’t stand to see her happy. We know Amy is going through a lot right now. She’s even had to “voluntarily” return the rescue dog she passionately loved for years. This is setup for us to gather together some funds so we can show Amy some love. If you feel people have been unfair to Amy well this is the place for you to show a little love. Once we reach our goal we can show Amy some love and see her smile again.
I slipped on that one. Amy Cooper. Here's the video of murder in Minneapolis. https://m.facebook.com/1429363915/posts/10223580622850205/?d=n The FBI is investigating now.
The italicized is a direct quote. I don't think it's snark at all. SOB is probably related to this cop-calling, dog-strangling garden utensil
I was gonna say, I didn't need to lose Alice Cooper to racism, though I didn't mind seeing Bryan Adams get dragged
Poor Racist Amy!!! Well, she meant to destroy Christian Cooper's life. Actions have consequences.— Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews) May 26, 2020
Candace Owens shining boots and tap dancing way too hard... She even got the other coons looking at her like wtf? pic.twitter.com/iZyTphmnSo— Dominus (@TheLateSh0w) May 26, 2020 He’s predictably said that it’s just “misinformation” but I trust The Daily Beast & my own eyes.Next, he’ll say he’s dealing with an emergency to buy himself time. Then he will get people to co-sign him for things not even referenced. He’ll say everything but the truth.— deray (@deray) May 26, 2020 DeRay called it. 1265233708681920512 is not a valid tweet id His timeline is retweets of people saying he's legit. My timeline says it's National Redhead Day. Take it easy today, @Coyote-Trickster.
Candace Owens is pathetic. She portrays the woman as being scared of the Black dude and thus worthy of a call to the police. Of course the question becomes, if she was so scared, why was SHE walking up on the dude and lunging at him and his camera? If I were terrified, I would not be stepping to them. Candace Owens is the worst. Shuckin' and jivin' doesn't even begin to do justice to what she does on the regular.
North Carolina in the house! Strangers Almanac is one of my top...100 albums. (I've got hundreds of albums, probably 1000 so top 100 is pretty good.) Waiting to Derail is one of my top 50 songs.
Serious question...do black folk have a term for people like that? Would Aunt Thomasina be the best fit?
I'm learning alot about American racism and it's roots. Also about white privilige. There are very distinct characteristics to be distinguished.
I own it and listen to it fairly regularly. It doesn't make my top 200, though... "Houses on the Hill" is the one that caught me...
Maybe you're just jealous you don't get to photobomb Cardi B? OKay, seriously: that guy seems to get a lot of money that doesn't wind up where he says it's going. Who are some of the others?
