Pleasantly surprised he got in with the injury last week. He is such a joy to watch and has tremendous potential. Hope he can stay healthy, or at least regenerate like McKennie.

Off topic (Gio), but also sort of on topic (YA)...

...which is ironic because my memory of him in his MLS playing days was that he was a hard working center mid looking more to destroy than to set up the attack.

Would love to see him as OUR coach (USMNT) some day.

I had you on ignore but you snuck on when I did my once a year amnesty.

I would be honored to be on your ignore list.

Like Favre said: If you can't see the quality, you're blind.

yeah man, after 8 weeks of keeping his secret weapon under cover and the team not training I'm guessing the team only needs some convert action to turn the corner. Never mind the way he lost the lead in the first place playing Fivver scared ball.

Yeah, for sure nothing wrong. Just not much going on in his neck of the woods at that point of the game.

Gio didn’t see much action, as the game slowed down considerably right about the time that he subbed on.

Even at his young age he looks like an intimidating athlete out there.

He doesn’t in anyway look like a 17 yr old on the pitch whether statute or demeanor.

Gotta be a VERY low chance he gets his first start today? My only hope is that with the quick turnaround, and if he's completely recovered from that injury, he should be fresh?

Yeah, your first ever start coming against Bayern in the midst of a title race would seem a bit much. Great chance at sub minutes today....then maybe a start this weekend?

Most likely, yeah...only caveat is that I was very surprised to see him getting the first start coming out of the pandemic break over Hazard, so who knows!

Hazard has certainly not hurt his case for remaining in the starting lineup. His season appears to be the reverse of his last... a year ago he was fantastic in the 1st half of the season and disappeared during the 2nd... He started off a bit slow with BVB but has been on fire for a while now.

Next hope - he should get some time in 2nd half since Dortmund will likely be chasing a goal or 2!

Ahhh Sancho not starting again. Sucks that he’s been pushed out of the starting line up by Hazard and Brandt. He can’t even get into the Dortmund team, how does he think he will play in the EPL? *sarcasm*
