That's how I was with math. I wish I'd figured out that secret before my sophomore year of college, though.
So now arguing in favour of tax cuts that benefit you is the same as Hitler's treatment of the Jews? Can't they just be, y'know... wrong?
It was about rationalising things, not treatments. Anyway if your benefit goes at the cost of healthcare=live or death of people it's not about being wrong, but about being evil.
According to Mike Nesmith, that was actually about a mental institution! But yes, it's hard to believe looking out the sitting on my back deck planning my carnivorous adventures for tonight that there is anything wrong with the world right now. My chickens are really enjoying the weather as well.
It's almost like trickle down was just an economic experiment and its proponents didn't foresee its consequences. See the reaction to Thatcher's death to get a feel of what the average Brit thought of her.
And lest you wonder how COVID got onto remote reservations... 1264588373471215616 is not a valid tweet id
In these parts we cant forget. That Beautiful commercial was on tv all the time before Broadway shut down.
Anybody have a study that shows the viral transmission is slowed wearing a mask? https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/ar...-sars-cov-2#More-virus-on-outer-mask-surfaces This from the WHO: https://www.who.int/publications-de...of-the-novel-coronavirus-(2019-ncov)-outbreak I will just leave this here, with the comment that perhaps it is not as cut and dried as you all think.
There are probably as many articles showing it helps slow the spread of coronavirus. Do you wear one?
My mom has a masters in chem and was an acvountant mist of her life. My dad eas a satellite engibeer (worked on Voyger 2). I sm a history/civics teacher. I think your on to something.
I agree that it does not appear to be cut and dried, but the study referred to in the Medical News Today piece notes that it is not clear how much wearing a mask can reduce the trajectory of droplets that are understood to carry the virus. Wearing a mask is for the benefit of others, and reduction of the likelihood of transmission is a reasonable basis to wear a mask. It certainly isn't going to make people more likely to transmit the virus, I would say.
