Oh, forgot this. You also have to do social distancing from people with Android phones/tablets, windows pc's/chromebooks of at least a mile
Not impressed by my home state here....I can't see one person with mask, WTF? A look at the Ocean City, Maryland boardwalk this afternoon. The sunny weather brought out the people. Masks are encouraged but not required. @wjz #memorialdayweekend2020 pic.twitter.com/rK3gCfoZNB— Mike Hellgren (@HellgrenWJZ) May 23, 2020
Powerful and iconic. I have a feeling that this bit of work by @JustVent6 by way of @nytimes and @deAdder is going to be one of the indelible images of this moment. pic.twitter.com/hUCNlPJcUJ— Franklin Leonard (@franklinleonard) May 23, 2020
Plus you've gotta love the level of self-importance these shmoes feel that they think Bill ********ing Gates gives a shit where they are at all times.
I think he was in Jersey, but I don't remember. I think we're looking at 46% or more. That's who voted for him. Add in a bunch of others who did not vote for Hillary and it's a fairly decent number of people.
I did not compare them other than to say neither are really inspirational leaders. Biden being an improvement over Trump does not have a very high bar.
Is there anyone left who still thinks Oswald was acting alone? Lincoln was killed in the Ford Theater while JFK's car was built by Ford in their Lincoln factory. These events were clearly predestined by aliens with a great sense of irony.
Continuing that thought, didn't Trump just refuse a mask at a Ford plant that has made components for Lincoln automobiles?
I think that's exactly the point Let's be honest, even on 'our' side, people tend to believe some pretty stupid shit because it makes them feel better. When people post twitter or FB stuff showing Trump voters, (as opposed to trump supporters), in a bad light, how many people point out that that's probably not a representative sample or, if it, is, they're probably not being entirely truthful, as you say... very few. It's just easier to rationalise ones positions if we can comfortably disregard the views of other. Like the 40% figure for believing a vaccine will contain a microchip. I VERY much doubt that 40% of republicans, if you asked them what they believe about a vaccine, spontaneously came up with that theory. What almost certainly happened is that someone contacted and asked them if they believe it and they thought, 'What's the best way to really wind up those other bastards', and saying they did believe it is the simplest way. Like when you ask some people on the far left about businessmen and whether they are, in fact, evil. There are quite a few who will say they are but when you talk to them, they don't actually believe it.. it just sounds good and makes them sound 'right on'. There's a reason why political canvassers always ask follow-up questions when they've asked people's voting intentions... stuff like asking Liberals, 'Would you prefer a labour or a tory government'... because it's easy to say 'a pox on both your houses' when it's in the abstract but when they're faced with the outcome, people can start to waver.
You want to get one of these from a guy over here that makes them himself... They're not exactly what you'd call a 'sensible choice'
Then Ford went and pardoned Tricky Dick so Trump is hoping for a deja vu. Maybe he can get the former Yugoslavia to pardon him.
