I didn't realize Mr. B.I.G. was still with us! I count 10 of his epics lurking in my DVD collection. Besides Tormented, other Gordon pictures to check out are: Beginning of the End; The Cyclops; The Amazing Colossal Man and its sequel War of the Colossal Beast; Earth Vs. the Spider; Attack of the Puppet People; Village of the Giants; and two based on H.G. Wells -- The Food of the Gods and Empire of the Ants. Giant grasshoppers attacking Chicago crawl up a photograph of the Wrigley Building in Beginning of the End. The Amazing Colossal Man takes a jaunt to Vegas. Joan Collins meets her match in Empire of the Ants.
And where would MST3K be without his contributions? EDIT: I did not realize he was still with us, either.
Bjorn from ABBA turned 75 yesterday, which, given that they were the sound track for a chunk of childhood, made me feel old. I mean, I am old (ish), but they just sounded so youthfully enthusiastic to my young self.

I was surprised to learn 1) he's still around and 2) that he writes movie reviews, quite well, for Reason.com.
I heard him recently in an interview. His voice has changed. He sounds as old as he is. Still cool, though. Loved him on MTV News back in the day. and Tabitha Soren. Very low key newsbrief. Phil Donahue is still alive. Not sure why I started thinking of him. Doesn't turn 85 until December. But he does indeed turn 85. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Donahue
I was watching this really old Dennis Miller Live, and he mentioned Don King in his rant. He's still alive at 88.
Richard Starkey turned 80 on July 7th. He was also in some boy band......the group with the long hair.
I started thinking about misheard lyrics today, and for me, Duran Duran's "New Moon on Monday" sounded like something about "The New Walter Mondale". Anyway, he's still alive. No longer new (92). But alive. I did not know that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Mondale
Marvin the Martian - 78 Occasionally, I'll look through a listing of "famous people born on this day"........ and one thing I've learned is that I am out of the loop. A listing of famous people (and this is really why I posted this) will include youtube stars, snapchat stars, tiktok stars, etc. I mean.......I don't even.......I mean......I feel like a character in a Twilight Zone episode. There's just something disturbing about Abraham Lincoln or Albert Einstein's photo next to a 16 year old instagram "star". Wha happen?
