Hopefully. The fact that he is already back in training means it was just precautionary. I have to think he may get a start down the stretch... but this weekend seems unlikely. If he gets 20+ minutes I will be very happy.
Giovanni Reyna reportedly missed Wednesday's training session with Borussia Dortmund. Reyna is dealing with a muscle injury. #USMNT #Bundesliga https://t.co/AYvwzNQdF6— SBI Soccer (@SBISoccer) May 20, 2020
Yikes so I wonder if the earlier reports were wrong, or he re-aggravated the hamstring injury, or if this is something new.
I'd wager he felt tightness in whatever muscle he hurt on Saturday after he trained on Tuesday. He won't play this weekend, probably be back to full training next week (young muscles) and play the following week.
Lots of questions surrounding Gio Reyna's status for this weekend. Seems more than likely that he will def be ready for Bayern Munich clash next Tuesday. As for this weekend, remains to be seen. He has been training though, and I hear he has been sharp. Prob on squad.— Roger Gonzalez (@RGonzalezCBS) May 21, 2020
https://www.uol.com.br/esporte/fute...quer-meia-de-17-anos-do-dortmund-diz-site.htm "In addition to Haaland, Real Madrid wants 17-year-old Dortmund midfielder"
It references this article in Dón Balón as the source: Florentino Pérez llama a Dortmund y no es por Haaland y Hakimi https://www.donbalon.com/futbol/laliga/florentino-perez-llama-dortmund-no-es-haaland-hakimi It's fairly speculative and mentions Brandt and Reyna as being potential bargaining chips in a package deal to get Haaland. No RM sources were named.
Yeah, I could see that. Wonder how the release clause in Haaland's contract works when the offer is for Haaland + 1.
I’ve seen some rumors that Halaand actually negotiated a lowish release clause in his deal, $60 million or thereabouts. Increases the likelihood that he’ll be able to chose his next landing spot if true
I think the release clause is $75 mil. From what I remember reading, he chose Dortmund because he would practically be guaranteed first team minutes on a good team and would not get in the way of a future transfer. Similar to his situation at Salzburg.
