I like those polls, with the 2 special elections won by republicans (in GOP favorable seats), hopefully this lights a fire under Democratic voters ass. I rather go in thinking is too close to call, than thinking the democrats have it in the bag.
Money. You need about what 500 samples per state, so for 6 states that is 3,000 total samples. It would be better, but more expensive. I mean all National level polling is stupid, since it is meaningless (it can capture trends), state level polling is the way to go. But National polling helps drive a narrative and it is easier to use by the media, so they use it all the time.
Can you really get mad at them, if they're just doing what Joe told them to do? Asked what he'd say to women who believe Tara Reade and are now struggling with their vote, Biden says: "If they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn't vote for me. I wouldn’t vote for me if I believed Tara Reade."— Mike Memoli (@mikememoli) May 15, 2020 People Joe Biden has publicly told not to vote for him:—immigrant rights activists. —climate change activists.—people who believe Tara Reade.— jeremy scahill (@jeremyscahill) May 15, 2020
From a republican pollster in Georgia.....really tight race. A new Republican State Leadership Poll in Georgia finds Donald Trump barely edging Joe Biden in the presidential race, 48% to 46%. In the U.S. Senate race, Sen. David Purdue (R) leads challenger Jon Ossoff (D), 46% to 41%.
For those who were asking or wondering, Mikey's cavalry is on coming! Man, not good news for the Orange moron. Mike Bloomberg is plotting a massive spending blitz to back Joe Biden’s quest for the White House,” CNBC reports. “The former New York mayor and his closest political advisors are discussing whether Bloomberg’s expenditure will include major donations to pro-Biden super PACs, Biden’s joint fundraising effort with the Democratic National Committee, or another independent group.” Though it’s unclear how much Bloomberg will eventually spend, some of the people familiar with the matter noted that they anticipate Bloomberg to end up spending in excess of $250 million to support Biden… Any major financial support from Bloomberg backing Biden does not include what he could put toward assisting congressional Democrats.”
Do you mean that results were changed later? Whether results were changed later or not, you're wrong about the margin. Page 11 of https://transition.fec.gov/pubrec/fe2016/federalelections2016.pdf says Clinton won by 2.09%. I read that California 25 special election loser Christy Smith had the same problem as Clinton, which was not getting African-Americans to vote.
Would be funny if they took one for the team...I don’t really give the hackers a lot of credit...they generally don’t seem to deliver what they promise (Anonymous) “Celeb hackers double ransom demand to $42M and promise to ‘reveal Trump’s dirty laundry’ after targeting A-list stars” https://www.the-sun.com/news/834931/celeb-hackers-double-ransom-donald-trump-dirty-laundry/

@American Brummie Latest Podsave America had some interesting comments on Trump's supposed digital advantage Some of this is based on the assumption that digital is the reason Trump won in 2016 which is not based on any reality so far as we know - indeed we do now know most of Trumps' facebook activity was fundrasing on the other hand, Biden has clear fundraising issues and organising issues
Because of your post re research which proves that advertising does not move the voting needle I think we agreed that digital can be effective to raise money So I was interested what was your opinion on the supposed Trump "deathstar"
I am not that worry about the organizing issues now. As Plouffe said himself, with O'Malley-Dillon, Biden new Campaign Manager, they have one the best in the business and she is righting the ship. She announced some pretty big moves this weekwith the addition to 600 staffers assigned to battleground states in June. The added some top talent the last few weeks as well coming from the Warren, Pete, Harris and Beto's campaign too. As far as money, Trump has a clear advantage but in the ext few momths we should expect things to get closer money wise, specially with the Bloomberg $$$. "The campaign said Friday that it had $103 million cash on hand at the end of April when combined with the Democratic National Committee. The April fundraising total was almost $61 million between the two entities. Trump and the Republican National Committee said this week that they had more than $250 million."
One more problem for Trump as a campaigner, is the amount of money they will grift out of it. IOW, of those $250 million, a big portion will pay for a lot of mailers, events in Trump properties and advertising in OAN, but not that much to advertise in battleground states. OTOH, MSM and Facebook will be happy to give Trump a hand.
Brad Parscale is going to make a killing. The rest of the grifters including the Trump family will get their share as well. FB for sure, Zuck is a POS.
And... it's over before it really began: After much reflection, I’ve concluded that circumstances don’t lend themselves to my success as a candidate for president this year, and therefore I will not be a candidate.— Justin Amash (@justinamash) May 16, 2020
