That was a favorite with my cousins and I. Play with 3 quarters and if you were lowest you had to pay into the pot. Last man standing wins the pot.

@Kryptonite - I watched this game twice the day you messaged me. LOVE. I did not, however, catch my hugs at midfield...so clearly I need to watch again, @hangthadj Additionally, I'm impressed with myself that I remembered my password for this place
Called pinochle in Ohio also ppl in my family played it. I played a lot of cards but don’t like that gm or Poker. I prefer Spades, Dirty Hearts and Biz Whist
Well, no one else has tried yet, so I'll go. The picture implies 4-2-3-1, so I'll stay in that formation, and I'll try to be honest and put people in the right positions (for example, not having GBS and Higuain on the field at the same time, even though they were both #10s). I'm also going based on what ability they showed and success they did in Crew colors, not the totality of their careers. In the back... The one position that may be toughest is actually goalkeeper. We've had a BUNCH of great keepers over the years. Buschie, Hesmer, Friedel, Steffen, Sommer, Dougherty... I'm going with Steffen, but you could pick Hesmer or Busch and I wouldn't complain. Left to right for the back four: I've got Padula, Marshall, Clark and Hejduk. D-mid: Brian Maissonneuve and Brian Carroll. Attacking Mids: Robert Warzycha, Schelotto, Gaven. Forward: McBride. Now... that lineup isn't one I'd choose if I had to win a game. A lot of great defense, and a solid target man at forward, but not a ton of game-changing speed. With that level of back four, either one of Mais or Carroll, and the defensive work Gaven and Warzycha would do, I would actually drop one of the d-mids and put Jeff Cunningham in as the second forward to give us a speed threat.
Also basing this on what the players did with the Crew. GK: Friedel Defense: Lapper-Marshall-Fraser-Hejduk D-mid: Mais - Carroll Mid: Gaven-Schelotto-West Forward: John I think Lapper, Carroll, and West would face the most competition for their spots.
Friedel wasn't here long enough, and was 14-15 in his only full season here. Not there for me. No quibbles with your other choices. Lapper was great, Fraser certainly could be there, and I almost put West out there for his speed. I went McBride over John because we'd need someone who could get on the end of a cross, but he could certainly be out there in a 4-4-2.
Friedel was MLS keeper of the year in 97 and kept us alive down the stretch in 96. I almost put Cunningham in there instead of West because of how he was used.
Four goals, one match.@EdsonBuddle stands alone as the sole player in #Crew96 history with a four-goal performance. pic.twitter.com/jMuPOD9kDl— The Crew (@ColumbusCrew) April 16, 2020 And Cunny with two of the assists
I was in autograph alley with my son after that game. Buddle came out of the locker room struttin’ like John Travolta in ‘Staying Alive’. Deservedly so.
