Gol and assist from Yeison Guzman (21), gol and assist for Neyder Moreno (23), and a gol for the 19 year old Meneses. A shame Moreno got no shot with Osorio.

And a bigger shame the first 2 didn't get any chance at all with the sub 23...

I don’t know the biggest disappointment for me is still Libis Arenas. Thank god his back up Ospina turned out great.

I guess the other player that looked like a huge star and turned shit was Pino. Tho Pino just looked like a great dribbler.

also annoyed with the promising stars that murdered their careers to go to China like Roger Martinez and Percerido of Cali

The thing with Montano was that he was legit great in that Copa America, Toulon and even in Seria A his first year with Parma in the minutes he got. You'd of thought he was Cinderella and his carriage turned back into a pumpkin at midnight the way his abilities disappeared.

Ian Poveda debuted for Leeds today. 18 minutes in a 0-2 loss. Nothing too special, but he was active.

You never know. Until he puts on a senior England jersey, nothing is set in stone.

And I don't see England in any rush to do that soon.

    That is true.

But the process to become eligible for Colombia can be long. He would need to fill out the one- time switch paper work and have it approved by FIFA which in some cases can take many months.
So if he does not do it soon he would not be allowed to play for Colombia this cycle more than likely the 2026 cycle the earliest.

If he has worked his arse up to a good position in the Premiere League he could get called up by England before then. If he sucks we probably don't want him anyway.

He is in D2 England. Neither Nt will call him. But to write him off already makes no sense. Same with Salcedo.

Our Nt has done nothing to court this prospect. That is on us. Not the player.

What do you want Colombia to do? The kids cannot play for Colombia until they file the proper paper work and wait in line.
If they really want to play for Colombia they have to take the initiative to do it.
The Federation cannot do anything to woo them or speed the process along.

    Talk to them

Look at the US they search for anyone eligible.

most of us here are in the us some born here. What if we were good enough. What do we have to do? Suck bedoyas dick?

Italy courted Gio Rossi in 2006. Stole the biggest American prospect until Pulsic.

If scouting players that are eligible for your team isn’t beyond Italy wtf is Colombia too proud to do it.

That poveda kid says he is a huge James fan. Have the snt coach call James to talk to the kid

The kids you are referring to seem focused on their club careers and already have played for England and Italy at the youth levels.
At this point in time having someone from the Fed talking to them is pointless unless they think they are good enough for the Senior team.

At this point in time they are not.

He's looked really promising since his debut.. He even started vs Derby and by all accounts had a really good game. He seems to be evolving under Bielsa. He's gonna be a Prem player now. :D
