I read DeRossi may be ending up with the primavera alongside his dad coaching. Not sure if he needs to take the test at Coverciano but I'm assuming he will have to sooner or later.

De Rossi managing the first team one day would be legendary. It would likely be an enormous train wreck but a man can dream.

I'm sure bitter sweet given the circumstances. Shame he couldn't have figured out the family off the pitch stuff but ultimately that's more important.

Crotone aren't unsaveable at this point, but this isn't a normal relegation battle. They're battling Fiorentina, Torino and Parma for safety, which will be pretty difficult. He'll be jumping straight into a dumpster fire, but could still be a good learning experience for him.

I think DDR could be a good coach.

I read about this. I think he has his coaching badges now so this will be a good experience for him.

SkyItalia reporting that De Rossi has been hospitalized since yesterday because of covid, but his situation is under control.

Man must have gotten it pretty bad.

According to the papers his blood oxygen levels dipped low enough that he had to go to the hospital. Hopefully it’s nothing.

An elite athlete getting hospitalized for more than a day is definitely a cause for some concern. Especially when it’s being said he’s having respiratory issues and his oxygen levels have dropped enough that he needs to be taken in. No one is saying he’s going to die, just that hopefully he recovers well and this is his situation.

But lets not bring any of that up because it goes against your narrative.

First, you'd have to believe the "news" that his oxygen levels did drop to a dangerous level.

Second even if they did drop to dangerous levels (which they didn't) he would the a statistical anomaly. That's why it's pointless trying to argue the margins with Low Information Citizens like yourself. Instead of talking about the statistical outliers, lets discuss the millions of other people his age that experience nothing.

This is how they get the Low Information Citizen like you. They tell you DDR had a drop in his oxygen levels. You immediately jump to the conclusion it was a significant drop when the reality is it was miniscule. They then take the statistical outliers like this case and present them as falling within the standard deviation and the Low Information Citizen like yourself is conned.

He was never in any danger. He was never put on a respirator or oxygen of any sort. Thus his oxygen levels never dropped significantly. But hey, I guess facts don't support your Low Information Narrative.

As a priest that taught at my school used to say, "don't continue to wallow in ignorance."

Or, I posted this to give an update on a former beloved player and hope he gets well as this is abnormal that an elite athlete like him would be in the hospital for this.

But feel free to live in your own narrative that everything is political and we are all Low Information Citizens that pale in comparison to your brilliance. I’ll make sure to message De Rossi and let him know that he’s just an anomaly and is spreading fear by having covid.

Guess he just spent the night at the hospital for fun.
It's funny how much you interpret in a short post that just translated what a Roma fanpage said about the situation. At no point did anyone claim that a 37y old with DDR's fitness level is your standard hospitalised COVID patient.
