Speaking of 'Hard Working Competitors...' https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-wrong-to-take-training-coronavirus-tottenham What a gaping a**hole! Risking everyone's - players, staff, and their families - health for a damn practice.
We used to parachute on the North Yorkshire moors. Great summers for hiking there. And the pubs down in Robin Hood’s Bay are classic olde world.
oawww, what a shame. not ! Barcelona’s crisis has deepened after six board members resigned, including two vice-presidents and the man the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, had identified as his successor. In a collective letter deposited with a notary, they cited their inability to change the way the club is being managed and called for presidential elections at the earliest opportunity. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...n-way-club-run-president-josep-maria-bartomeu
What are people's thoughts on Saudi Arabia taking over Newcastle? One slavelord that doesn't spend for a slavelord that is likely to open up the purse. I'd not be surprised to see the league all of a sudden try to take a stand over how much input the sauds will have in order for the fit and proper person test to be met given the likely moral outrage
Honest question, I'm not trying to be an asshole. What are the benefits of gloves? Aren't you touching the stuff you're going to be touching/eating/using later anyway? Plus there's no evidence to suggest you can eat this virus (and it infect you that way). It has to get in your lungs. I never understood the gloves thing. Just like I don't understand when people drive with a mask on or walk outside (clearly without a soul in sight) with a mask. The virus isn't some hawk circling all of our heads waiting to fly up our noses. It's going to come from someone sneezing/coughing/(very close) talking.
Gloves: The glove makes sense if you sanitize everything when you get home (before any direct contact with you or anything else). It's a process, but it can be made to work. Masks: Totally agree if you are 10ft or more away from anyone. However, it does provide some protection in closer quarters. In particular, I think it is a courtesy to others as YOU are less likely to pass it on if you are asymptomatic. Would be great if all the asymptomatic people I might come into contact with were nice enough to wear a mask ........... Overall: Best evidence I have that this type of approach works is places like Hong Kong. As they went through SARS and others, they were very comfortable to implement masks, gloves etc at a very early stage. Other protocols also standard such as covering buttons in elevator with plastic film and disinfecting at regular intervals. If EVERYONE takes all the precautions, it does help.
if they buy Newcy, watch for Rafa to return - their fans would LOVE to get him back. Rafa armed with a huge Saudi wallet? dangerous. for everyone else in the league.
I mean, it was an honest question. I don't mean to offend you, good sir. If gloves in the store and masks in your cars make y'all feel better. Have at it. Live and let live and all that.
Nah, I just thought it was an odd thing to rant about. I keep a mask in the glovebox for if and when I go into a store. Then I’m careful of what I touch and keep some Clorox wipes in the car if I feel unsure of what I’ve handled. then gargling with Clorox instead of Listerine in the am always feel good. Not recommended for children under 12. Seriously, don’t do that.
I could tell you why, but I'd have to kill you...afterwards. Before wouldn't make much sense, or would it????????
