Honestly, I think Serie A should drop to 18 regardless of today's situation. I know it will never happen because that would mean less revenue for the teams.

Governments can’t even build proper roads and I’m supposed to believe this is all Coordinated to put everyone under one government super body?

Then you got people talking about Yellowstone and asteroids and 5G.

No idea for sure other than i feel something big is happening in the background and the virus is the event. If social distancing is the reason the hospitals are empty that's great and all but why are these liars reporting something entirely different? That's the question you should be asking.

They should have shown the lines in front of Costco, grocery stores and other places that are open.

Yeah they didn’t go to those places. I don’t believe anything if someone is skewed in one view or another. Everyone has an agenda to push.

the only conspiracy i believe is that China unleashed this upon the world with purpose.

maybe someone can confirm the numbers... but i heard Beijing and Shanghai were relatively unaffected.

Its just the average citizen doing their own reporting all over social media. It seemingly takes that to get some sort of truth in todays bs media. Take a trip down to your local hospital and see with your own two eyes. Then turn on your local news and see if they're telling the truth in your area.

San Francisco is largely unaffected. So the hospitals are not over loaded.

What I can say is a lie that the media is pushing is that our public transportation is being disinfected. I can tell you it’s not nor is the proper equipment being provided or the man power. Which is why I have been using my sick time. The transportation agency is more worried about getting government money than doing the right thing for workers and the public.

Empty waiting rooms and lobbies doesn’t necessarily mean empty hospitals, given social distancing measures people might call in and be told to stay home until there is room. Potential patients huddled up in waiting rooms and lobbies is a sure fire way to spread the virus even quicker.

Not saying it’s true or not true, but just like the media is biased towards towards reporting this as a catastrophe there are a lot of people that believed this was a hoax from the beginning and are very invested in that narrative.

interesting video that raises some questions but I don’t think it disproves anything the media has been saying. Unless they have been saying specifically that the hospital lobbies are filled to the brim (which they might have been I haven’t kept up with the MSM too closely).

Yeah I was going to say, I'm pretty sure I remember reading that they actually can look at the history of viruses fairly easily, and it likely transferred from animal to human back in mid-November.

Yes that is all I am saying from this. Food for thought to keep your own mind as this goes on. My gfs dad is a doctor and so far, nothing more than normal. Yes it appears some mainstream channels are reporting places are overwhelmed so locals have been going out to check for themselves.

It's 99.9999% zoonotic. It's very easy. PCR the genomes, align them correctly, and look for mutations. This new Covid-19 strain completely falls in line with what virologists expect.

    Some quick background for people:

"But the RNA polymerases of RNA viruses are the kings of errors – these enzymes screw up as often as one time for every 1,000 – 100,000 nucleotides polymerized. This high rate of mutation comes from the lack of proofreading ability in RNA polymerases. These enzymes make mistakes, but they can’t correct them. Therefore the mutations remain in the newly synthesized RNA.

Given a typical RNA viral genome of 10,000 bases, a mutation frequency of 1 in 10,000 corresponds to an average of 1 mutation in every replicated genome. If a single cell infected with poliovirus produces 10,000 new virus particles, this error rate means that in theory, about 10,000 new viral mutants have been produced. This enormous mutation rate explains why RNA viruses evolve so readily. For example, it is the driving force behind influenza viral antigenic drift." - from a virology blog.

A good take I haven't really seen mentioned yet. Some players have basically been out for what is the same length as a summer break. Even when this clears up, we're likely going to need a mini-preseason before leagues start back up again.
