    I also add clarifications...

    How to vote?

We are 12 participants. We will vote in all the matches, except in which we are involved, so every match will have 10 votes.

All votes will be sent by PM to me (I will send mine to one of you so that you can confirm them later) and will consist of a score, scorers and MOTM. For example:

    Team A 3-2 Team B
    Oleguer x2, Kaiser (Team A)
    Bramble, Aguirre (Team B)
    MOTM: Dia (Team A)

After receiving all the votes I will get the final results, scores, scorers and MOTM's.
Votes will be published at this point.

How will the results come out?

As there will be 10 votes for match, the scores may have 66 different combinations giving a victory to the local, a draw or a victory to the visitor. This will determine the result for each combination:

After determining the result, the exact score will be determined by the average number of goals awarded in all votes to each team (always respecting the minimum difference to preserve the result) and the scorers in the same way (in the case of a tie between scorers, the deepest (by position) will be the one with the first option).

The MOTM's will be used to make a final count that points the Team of the Tournament.

    Nice work Peru.

Just one more clarification (like last time it might be that it is already evident, but I will check anyway): you don't want us to provide any ideas about assisters, or ways in which goals might be scored? I remember for example that I received those for the last tournament we did (the All-Time World Cup game).

I always find it a little uncertain to decide upon a correct score from the collection of votes with these types of things, so kudos for using a specific method as you describe above - it should give a decisive answer to what the score will be (maybe there can always be a case of two where the calculation comes right in the middle of two options, but it looks like you'd basically be able to calculate it satisfactorily).

Sorry mate, I just read your message.

This time I have not asked for assistants to be mentioned because in a previous ranking I ask them alternately and most decided not to name them, so I assumed that it could be demanding many specification from your imagination.

Some have pointed them out and that is appreciated. If everyone wants to keep this count, we could ask for it from now on (I would consider those who mentioned them and wait for those who wish to add them).

    No problem, mate.

As you saw I just sent goalscorers myself, but can add assisters to the message I sent you - I'll do it shortly probably but certainly before the deadline.

Only a European thinks that Falcao is less than Kroos or Petit.

petit won a double at arsenal, the World Cup in 98 (scored in the final) and the euro in 2000 as well as a league title with Monaco

falcao wouldn’t fit in with Kronos and iniesta

iniesta is one of the best cms of all time and Kroos has 5 champions league titles

but not shocked that I am losing every game to players who never did shit in Europe

let’s be real, the Brazilian and South American bias is rife in this draft and I’m losing interest fast

I can’t see myself winning a single game even with the highest scorer in English history, Ronaldo (probably the best player of all time) and George best up top

maybe I should’ve picked a Brazilian false 9 who scored goals in the 50s?

Regardless of the results in the following matches, do not go away from the tournament because then also lose interest for the other managers of the same group.

In case you are no longer interested in continuing the tournament, what you can do is the following: ban the player of the opposite team, present your best lineup, it does not matter that you do not write a tactical review, vote impartially always so that the results are fair. Another option is that you can get a manager to replace you.

I will be doing the bare minimum from now on I’m not pulling out

i am resigned to losing every game

I have previously pointed out, this whole tactical stuff is a bit ott, being as players from different eras could not play together

the line up should be produced and you vote in the strength and combination of players for balance

Rather European bias, assuming that they are the center of the world.
In the 70s and 80s Europe was not compared to Armérica.
Elías Figueroa rejected Real Madrid because they paid him more at Inter Porto Alegre and the best players were in Brazil.
    Source:
    http://origin.fifa.com/womensyoutho...gueroa-chile-defensive-commander-1573795.html

The best players from the South American countries did not precisely go to Europe.

    Brazil Pelé
    Argentina J.M. Moreno
    Uruguay J. L. Andrade
    Peru T. Fernández
    Chile E. Figueroa
    Paraguay A. Erico
    Colombia W. Ortiz
    Ecuador A. Spencer
    Bolivia. Excheverry
    Venezuela R. Dudamel

    Different style and role.
No classic South American 10 will adapt to dirty European tactical football.
Sócrates, Rivelinho, N. Alonso, A. Pedernera, RIquelme, H. Talavera, A. González, A. Aguinaga, J. Valdivia, C. Reinoso, F. chamaco Valdés, JL Sierra, T. Drago, A. Terry, Chorrillano Palacios, S. Rivas, C. Valderrama, Redín, Luís de la Fuente, etc etc etc. All big, all geniuses, none serve dirty European style.

The great South American stoppers, despised for being low, but with great reading, reaction and above all, technique:
    H. Chumpitaz, I. R. Córdoba, G. Medel, H. Chita Cruz, A. Solalinde, Torales, F. Arce, Claudio Suárez.

NO MY FRIEND, EUROPE IS NOT IMPORTANT TO SOUTH AMERICA AND OUR PLAYERS ARE BETTER, No European player has won anything in South America.

Get down of your cloud and put Falcao the starter, objectively you will do better.

mari just won everything in Brazil

your level has not been better than Europe for what, over 30 years?

if European football is so bad why has the Brazilian national team stopped producing so many flair players and is now producing more European style midfielders and defenders?

this is the problem with football Opinions, nostalgia

By the way, apart from calculating the Man of the Match per game, I am also counting each individual nomination to establish a kind of overall better players and put together an ideal team at the end of the tournament.

These are the top nominees for now:

08 - MARADONA, Diego (Perú FC)
    08 - MORENO, José Manuel (msioux75)
    08 - PELÉ (OT_CAPITANO)
07 - GULLIT, Ruud (tLB Odiseo)
    06 - DI STÉFANO, Alfredo (JJMM1)
    06 - MESSI, Lionel (La-Máquina)
06 - SCIREA, Gaetano (Perú FC)
    06 - ZICO (La-Máquina)
05 - CRUYFF, Johan (Tom Stevens)
    05 - SAMMER, Matthias (OT_CAPITANO)
    05 - ZIDANE, Zinedine (Diez)

    Here are my sincere ideas...

On judging the footballers individually, I think the honours (what they won with their teams) won't impress anyone or the majority. In this group of participants there is a good level of knowledge, more than enough to recognize the level of each footballer about their individual impact rather than for the trophies achieved.

On the other hand, surely there will be different ideas and opinions because it's about subjective perceptions. I'd say that it's one of the interesting points of the game, not only position our best team for us, but to identify what may be going through the mind of the voters and find a new way to convince them with our squads.

I don't think go for a continental bias issue would be useful (I'm not saying it for you mate). The biases may be, but they cannot be verified at all and it depends a lot on the point of view of each one. I guess most will consider every loss unfair (I still can't assimilate my loss against @OT_CAPITANO, hehehe (I'm not kidding)), it's a common feeling in these games, but it can always be taken as the opportunity to reform.

Also, about what they did in Europe or not, I suppose that the most knows or has a reference that the major leagues in Europe mark the top of world football since the 1990's and having footballers of any time, many are nowhere near being subject to that reality. Maybe that's not a good measurement point.

I don't a see a marked bias, but it just my point of view, although that doesn't mean I agree with all the results and there are not certain specific favorites, it's part of the game. I hope you don't get too discouraged, we just started (21 points remains at stake) and I think you've the weapons to find some new impact.

    That's an exaggeration, for sure.

In any case, the inclusions also depend on the tactical system that each one has in mind. We could avoid highlighting differences in this way.

Ok, here, in this specific comment, I can identify a bias, although I know you have very strong ideas and thoughts about it and I also know that you might simplify your comments because it's difficult for you to write in English.

It would be helpful to avoid this type of direct confrontation and avoid the qualifiers as "dirty", even if you really think so. Everyone has their way of thinking and can be expressed respectfully and remember, this is just a game... in full quarantine. :D
