This March would be dodgy. But in normal circumstances I'd choose November to March for tropical cruises.

I don't know that the Pac-8 as a whole ever really a great caretaker of the institution of cfb, but USC was once pretty good. But in these SEC-favorable days, the whole conference is going to need to relax its academic standards if they ever want to compete again.

But running involves a lot of sweating, spitting and snot rocketing, especially in outdoor allergy season, which has already started.

Well you gotta remember, we're talking the late Sixties watching ball with my dad, into the early Eighties. There was a stretch where the Pac Eight (then Ten) won 16 out of 18 Rose Bowls. That was all we got invited to, and we pretty much always won.

For the record, USC won 7 of those 16 Rose Bowls, UCLA 4, Stanford 2, Washington 2, and Arizona State 1. But I don't count Arizona State as a real Pac Conference team. Johnnie Come Lately.

Again... exercising is an exempt activity. As long as the people try to maintain the 6’ rule, they aren’t violating the stay at home order. Seriously, if leaving your house is so bad, the first person you should be attacking is the idiot that posted the pic/video. WTF were they doing out of their house? Talk about the epitome of selfishness. It’s okay I’m out and about, but look at all these assholes doing the same thing I am.

I'm off to buy some pig food at Tractor Supply Company.

The big difference when you are out is that there are no kids. It's heaven in a hellish sort of way.

And I’m sure the store will be packed since it is the weekend. :) I expect you to post a picture where you accuse everyone else of being a monster that’s trying to kill Nana.

Grocery run this morning. Still lots of produce and meat, bread and eggs were back to being fully stocked. Only thing that was picked over was soup. No TP or soap.

I love Tokyo but going out in the rest of the country is totally worth it. Kyoto is a must. Food in Japan is an experience in itself. If you can do the onsen experience one day, do not hesitate.

DeSantis is a tool, nothing new there. Floridians will pay the price for it though.

You know, I like my adopted country as well as my marriage to one of its citizens. :)
But there are some scummy people here. Prolly no more or less than any other country but it’s the shits when they pull this for Trump.

There’s a direct link to the NYT article end of first paragraph.

Look, I'm not at all surprised with the current situation. The USA, a long time ago, figured that "the almighty dollar" was where we worshipped.

Shutting down the economy, for human lives? Why?

We also hate smart people. Those people with education and knowledge and experience. Sure, when my animal is sick, I head over to a vet - someone with education and knowledge and experience. When I need someone to help with my investments, same thing. If I'm sick, same thing. But for some reason, scientists complaining about pollution or global warming or the coronavirus are wrong.

Interesting thing on NPR yesterday with Ebola. Those groups that distrust the government and educated doctors don't go to the office to get tested, so their numbers weren't as high initially, but they died more. Those New York and CA bastages that trust science and medicine are getting tested and heading to the hospital when they get sick. The Trump South? Not so much.

The interesting thing is that Trump's approach of letting the states figure it out makes it more likely that the people he likes - those that voted for him - will have higher rates of death due to their interesting hands-off approach to medicine and health care.

I don't know where he's getting that. Per the Worldometer, the U.S. has reported 15,950 new cases today (!), with 565 of them being from Florida.

There is a walking path behind my that everyone found in the last 2 weeks. It's approximately 8 feet across. The odds are 70% walk right down the middle or 2 or 3 abreast and do not give way.

So I give my dog more leash and let him sniff their crotch. Get all up in there.:thumbsup:

Didn't the Supreme Court already rule it unconstitutional back in Clinton's time?

It’s coming and could be very hard after spring break.
I’d like to hear De Santis then.

My kid is reading a book about AIDS. Fauci is all over the book, he was important to the early research and treatment, despite the Reagan administration not being very enthusiastic about addressing AIDS. The guy is a legend who worked great with five Presidents before this one.

The digestive system of Fox/Trump administration works the opposite of a normal system. It excretes the nutrients and retains only the waste. I can imagine anybody with a college degree not holding his or her nose, if not a Biden fan, and voting Democratic in November. It just boggles the mind that anybody with knowledge would tolerate this administration. But many millions well, although I think less than with the last election.

"Interesting" is one way to describe it.

State TV should do a running scroll of all the red state ballscratchers who die of this Hoax.

I kind of wish the old Border Conference was still together. Arizona, Arizona St., Northern Arizona, New Mexico, New Mexico State, UTEP, Texas Tech, West Texas A&M, and Hardin-Simmons.

Obviously some changes would be needed since H-S is Div III, and WTAM is Div II, but that's a starting point for a good mid major to major conference.
