Not equating the two so don't put words in my mouth. And it wasn't over. She continued to say it much to the joy of some of the posters in here.
Clearly Boris has a constructed façade (oo, fancy c!) of being a dingleberry. His name isn't even Boris. It's Alexander. The problem is he went to Eton, which also means he thinks he is far, far smarter than he actually is.
Also, Hillary isn't President. If she was, she wouldn't be calling Americans "deplorable" while President.
Newt is among Trump's strongest proponents and has been an extremely early adopter of Trump since before the Party was fully submerged into Trump apologia. Trumpism is Newt's endpoint; the goal he strived for.
You could actually hire Boris as a corporate speaker where he does the whole routine A guy wrote a fascinating article about it because he saw it one time and describes how Boris turned up late not knowing what event he was speaking at Then he saw him at a different event and he did the same routine To a very large extent it is a constructed persona
I read a fascinating book about the Iraq project which described how gazillions of kids were hired as staffers so long as they were not democrats The process of stuffing the departments with ideologues was very particular to guys like Rumsfeld
Here is a tweet from a company that does location tracking of cell phones. In it he tracks the movement of kids who went to the Ft. Lauderdale beach on spring break. Watch the video and gain a feeling of dread in the pit of your stomach. Want to see the true potential impact of ignoring social distancing? Through a partnership with @xmodesocial, we analyzed secondary locations of anonymized mobile devices that were active at a single Ft. Lauderdale beach during spring break. This is where they went across the US: pic.twitter.com/3A3ePn9Vin— Tectonix (@TectonixGEO) March 25, 2020
Ten people so far have tested positive after attending a church service in a local Chicago suburb on March 15th, with many more feeling ill I don't believe that the churches will be packed on Easter Sunday.
How does an outdoor adventure blogger handle lockdowns? He makes a vlog of him hiking his back yard as if he were in the deep woods.
Rock climbers have been doing similar. One friend of mine has been using their pipes and door frames as a way to practice.
Have you people been paying attention to the Trump/General Motors story? It's beyond crazy. First Trump issues an order to GM to build ventilators not through a Federal contract but by tweet. GM starts ramping up, but it tells the government it needs guidance on how many to build and tells them how much it is going to cost. The Trump administration balks at the price tag, and Trump sends an angry tweet towards GM, even telling them to use a factory GM no longer owns. Now GM is going ahead with the plan to build ventilators on its own, and will sell them on the open market at cost. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...ens-to-force-gm-to-move-faster-on-ventilators
He actually just invoked the Defense Production Act and ordered GM to make ventilators. That could have been done weeks ago.
Pelosi not invited to the bill signing ceremony... How fooking petty... It was a team effort...this POS gonna try to make it his
Ice cream man rolled through here about an hour ago? No brick, but I did gesture rather unkindly towards him.
But instead he was carrying on about how he didn't have to invoke the act, that companies would as they wished for the godfather, because they know what is good for them. Friends and enemies. Reward and punish. Although I don't think he rewards very often. More like Not Punish and Punish.
Cuomo today with the NY National Guard. I don’t care if he isn’t “purity politics” This guy outclasses anything the Dems are going to nominate
