True, but those were before September, 2015.
If she had been smart enough to kill more people after that date, she would be president now.

    The correct answer:
    Emails.

It is pretty much always the correct answer to "Why is Hillary Clinton bad?"

Dude. Republicans did more than make Democrats political enemies. The branded them as unAmerican and traitors. By 2002, Republicans were running political ads that described a man that gave up three of his limbs in war as a traitor and sympathetic to terrorists. Not only did they face no consequences for that, they swept Democrats out of office running on that. Trump is just the physical manifestation of a political tactic that started well before Trump was ever thought of as a politician.

The world is undercounting infections. For every known infection, there are 10 or 20 unknown. That's just the natural history of a virus which for many of us will have limited symptoms. There are umpteen million children that have contracted the virus around the world and in the US, few of them have been tested.

Those are some good points. Amazing how voters have tolerated such behavior.

India may have a super spreader

Indian authorities in the northern state of Punjab have quarantined around 40,000 residents from 20 villages following a Covid-19 outbreak linked to just one man.

The 70-year-old died of coronavirus - a fact found out only after his death.

The man, a preacher, had ignored advice to self quarantine after returning from a trip to Italy and Germany, officials told BBC Punjabi's Arvind Chhabra.

India has 640 confirmed cases of the virus, of which 30 are in Punjab.

However, experts worry that the real number of positive cases could be far higher. India has one of the lowest testing rates in the world, although efforts are under way to ramp up capacity

Yeah, well you're in a Settler Colonized Oligarchy, masquerading as a democracy based on using genocide / white supremacy / resource extraction / endless foreign wars to maintain the sociopolitical status quo for YT Folx

Similarly.. A vlogger I watch on Youtube lives in NYC with his fiance. On the day that NYC announced the full lockdown, they hopped in a car and drove across country to Texas to escape the impending quarantine. This is a guy who spends all day, every day going around NYC recording himself doing things. There's a very good chance he's been exposed to the virus and may even be a carrier... You gotta wonder how many people across the world are doing similar things..

Well yes, all these things, but the fact remains (unless somebody tells me otherwise) no President has ever called half of American voters "human scum." That is dangerous language, just as when he calls illegal immigrants rats and vermin.

GovernorWolf just added my county to the list of PA counties with an expaned "stay at home" order. Luckily, the exemptions are still sane, especially this one:

--Engaging in outdoor activity, such as walking, hiking or running if they maintain social distancing.

I mean, if ********ing gun stores are "life sustaining," then so is walking.

Day nine for us on the general order...so far: no one has gotten within 30 feet of us on our walk.[/INDENT]

TBH, I would not go that far. There were some pretty crappy Presidents and even worse politicians in the early to mid-1800s with regards to a wide range of things. The Federalist party was completely destroyed because of their opposition to the War of 1812 and being branded as all ranges of vile things by the Dem-Rep. There is a serious amount of recentism in US politics with regards to just how horrible Americans treat each other. This crap has existed from before we were a country and, at times, the dehumanization of the other has lead to Americans killing each other (Civil War says, "Hi!")

I'm not pining for 1850, but 1950 would do. Joe McCarthy had his moment, but Ike didn't roll over for him, and the American public moved on. Now Joe is in charge.

Yeah that probably wasn't a good descriptor. "Criminally naive" a better one perhaps?

    "A couple of economists".

While I'm sure they define their assumptions, I would think that there are other economists who have a different number in mind.

Hillary - In a conversation, "Half of Trump's supporters (which were then less than half the Republican Party) are deplorable."

Trump - To a screaming crowd, "Democrats are human scum!"

Plus Hillary knew she effed up and that was the end of it. In contrast, that's how Trump operates.

For the purposes of the paper presented, it was "a couple".

In any case, if you think there's anything like a consensus among economists, I don't know what to tell you.

We have a stay at home order with an explicit ban on close queuing for curbside pickup. The fvcking ice cream man just rolled down our street. I didn’t throw a brick at his truck. I didn’t cock my arm back like I was going to throw a brick at his truck. But he clearly saw I had a brick in my right hand and I was not pleased.
