Right but actual journalists interviewed her and published her last year. They haven't yet with today's allegations. Perhaps we ought to wait until journalists have finished writing the story. I will be shocked if the NYT or the Washington Post have nothing by tomorrow. Just as we let doctors and nurses do their job, let's let journalists do theirs.
Do you Bernard fans get that the choice at the election is Biden or Trump? Whats the point in ripping down Biden now? Even if this is true?
So let’s suppress this. We have an election to win FFS!!! The Trumpster playbook lays it all out for us.
I didn't ask you to suppress it But as @Knave rightly points out, it would be great if Team Bernard didn't do Trump's work for him
I don't quite get what the loud yelling is all about. I assume if this allegation is proven true Biden isn't gonna be the nominee.
They did a name association game recently with all the different candidates this is what came up Hillary was in the inevitable candidate/safe choice in 2008 including having hundreds of endorsements by party officials aka Super Delegates. It only became a 50/50 race when then underdog in this case Obama did the unthinkable and won overwhelmingly white Iowa. Nice try though. Clinton ln 1992 was left for dead by the party establishment after the Jennifer Flowers accusations. Most of the establishment supported Paul Tsongas. His comeback in NH in 3rd place no less and his big Super Tuesday wins solidified his front runner status. LBJ in 64 was an incumbent president and won the nomination by acclamation not a good example there buddy lol Kennedy won in 1960 in a crowded divided field. The establishment actually wanted Minnesota senator HHH to win. They were afraid a Catholic Boston Brahmin wouldn't connect with the public. JFK then won the WV primary and proved that he was a acceptable candidate for the GE. 1948- Truman was a sitting incumbent president so of course he had support, see 1964. FDR only had 4 terms not five mate. FDR was of course the favorite of the establishment because he was the establishment! as a sitting president in three of those terms. In 1932 he won the nomination on the 3rd ballot and united the two factions of the party. So of all the examples you were right once, nice try though....
Might be unpopular with my fellow Bernie brothers and sisters, but I'd take Cuomo/Bernie over Biden/No Bernie
I don’t care. His performance has been nothing short of Presidential. Vote blue no matter who!!!!!!!!
I didn't say he would be, choosing him over bernie, with zero votes in the primaries, good luck getting BernieBro voters in the general.
Couple of points. If you are going to spend time on her arguing for #metoo women, it helps to spell their names right or you might be accused of using victims for purely political purposes. Gennifer. Second, I supported Tsongas in 1992. He was far, far from the “establishment” candidate. It was a weird year. The establishment candidates all say that one out because Poppy was polling so well before the primaries. Mario Cuomo, Dick Gephart, Al Gore and many others say that race out. Clinton consolidated the establishment early on. After Super Tuesday, he was easily the establishment candidate.
Bernie has run and lost. Regardless of what would potentially happen with Biden, there would be a new person as nominee if he falters, dies or otherwise does not make it to Milwaukee. I believe Humphrey was the nominee in 1968 without winning a single delegate, no? Yeah, not a great election for the Democrats, but enough of us are convinced that Bernie is a dead bang loser against Trump that he is finished.
OH! Another great SNL skit from that election year. The Race to Avoid Being the Guy Who Loses to Bush seriously this skit is like a roast of the Democratic party at that time
