Comparing any national politician to Trump doesn't work. Not even the Cow Guy, he is merely a dishonorable henchman.

All this nonsense about giving people money could have been avoided if we simply had tax-advantaged pandemic savings accounts— James Medlock (@jdcmedlock) March 25, 2020
I always feel like these guys are out of Charles Dickens novels. But this guy is more Lord Farquaad from Shrek. Dick Kovacevich, the former Chairman and CEO of Wells Fargo, wants people to return to work. “Some of them will get sick, some may even die, I don’t know.” https://t.co/PZDaL6pUMp pic.twitter.com/DkJcheyfs8— Yashar Ali 🐘 (@yashar) March 25, 2020
The LameStream Media is the dominant force in trying to get me to keep our Country closed as long as possible in the hope that it will be detrimental to my election success. The real people want to get back to work ASAP. We will be stronger than ever before!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 25, 2020 As always, the calm, rational voice of reassurance. (We're all so screwed.)
Kovacevich ran Wells so aggressively that a Texas Republican Congressman -- a Texas Republican -- called his practices theft and cheating. So there's that to consider.
Graham, Sasse, Rick Scott and Tim Scott holding up bill because it provides unemployment benefits of $600 per week for 4 months. After they voted to give big corps $500,000,000,000. Senators, This is a national emergency. We want people to stay home. What don't you get?— Robert Reich (@RBReich) March 25, 2020
It’s a travesty that it took 4-5 years for CNN and MSNBC, both of whom showed empty ********ing podiums to finally arrive to this. NBC and CNN producers say they're through airing Trump's virus pressers. “We might take it from the top and then cut away after the first lie, and return when the lies stop.” https://t.co/kNhwJGhVe3— Noah Shachtman (@NoahShachtman) March 25, 2020
Well, they are Republican politicians, and by and large, Republican politicians are just dicks that don't care about people struggling to make ends meet in their particular households.
....I have been packed all day with meetings, I have no time for stupidity. We’re working around the clock to KEEP AMERICA SAFE!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 25, 2020

I know Helaine Olen, peripherally. We had a disagreement on a topic. She was thoughtful and cordial. It's amazing how many people are better informed, more reasonable, and better equipped to make almost any decision that than the people in the current White House.
I’d like to thank everyone who helped make this moment possible. pic.twitter.com/Xk5ZE2fV1W— Jamison Foser (@jamisonfoser) March 26, 2020 Your health care company was fined $1.7 billion for Medicare fraud, Rick. https://t.co/dI4Z37qXh3 https://t.co/Dh3MaMuqK3— Jamison Foser (@jamisonfoser) March 26, 2020
It's really good chicken. I was actually in KC visiting my mom. We had gone to the Brookville Hotel a few times when we were kids, and my brother and I decided to make a run with her for old time's sake. In addition, none of us had ever been to the Eisenhower museum and library before. It was pretty cool, and a reminder of what the country looked like with an actual President.
An important step by broadcast news organizations tonight. MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS News, and NBC all cut away from the president’s #coronavirus press briefing tonight, realizing the misinformation could risk lives. https://t.co/fswSqoYUKn— Dokhi Fassihian (@DokhiFassihian) March 26, 2020
