He may not be wrong. It raises questions like “why am I here?” Is it to live as long as possible or to do my bit and then pass it on to future generations? We have been in a time of great economic expansion as well as longevity. Maybe they both are a bubble. I’m over 60 myself so not looking forward to the possibilities.
He is wrong and so is the President. China shut down for months. South Korea and Singapore shut down for significantly longer than we have. They were not destroyed. Their countries didn't implode. We don't have to sacrifice lives for greed, but we can certainly choose to do that. And if we do, it will show that we are truly as morally bankrupt as our President. That's the thing about the baby boomers. They like to talk and act tough and pretend like they are their parents generation, but they are not. Trump tells us this is like war and this is as big a challenge as we have had since WWII. Can you imagine his parents generation on December 17, 1941, demanding to have a date certain when the war would be over. I mean, come on, its been 10 days already, we have to get back to our lives! John R is exactly right. They used up our planet, wrecked our health care system, and generally left this world worse than when they found it (or better yet, were handed it on a silver platter) and now their backbones of steel are wilting after two weeks?
.@KatieHill4CA gets run out of Congress for screwing a campaign staffer absent any complaint.@SenatorBurr stays as Intelligence Chairman after screwing all Americans by falsely reassuring us w opeds on #COVID while he dumped his stock portfolio early. This is not fair.— Matt Gaetz (@mattgaetz) March 23, 2020 Matt Gaetz? THAT Matt Gaetz?????
Just imagine Donald Trump in the Oval Office facing a real crisis. We can’t afford that kind of risk.— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) August 8, 2016
Burr doesn't seem popular among his fellow conservatives. Remember, Tucker Carlson went after him too.
With the caveat that by crowding the healthcare system may end in a much bigger toll: I will summarize for you what the party in power decided today:It is worth the price to lose 2% of the population to open up the economy. The republicans are basically saying: hitler, hold our beer, your final solution wasn’t final. There it is. 2% of the population for $— ALT-immigration (@ALT_uscis) March 24, 2020
It won't be total consensus. Those who oppose Trump the way the GOP opposed Obama are most certainly not morally bankrupt. They're asking for a date because they're concerned about their wealth. You're talking about fear and indiscipline (that's what it sounds like) when you should maybe be talking about avarice. They're not necessarily cowards. I'm a (very late) boomer myself, and I'm not asking for a date when this will end. I can do this as long as it takes for Trump's grand plans to go belly up.

What is the name? Virusma? Jacob Wohl, who brought you all the greatest hits below, is circulating a fake, doctored coronavirus lab test with Joe Biden’s name on it. Fox News holding a 2 hr Virtual Town Hall today with Trump and administration corona virus team. For me, raises two questions. 1) Doesn’t t Trump, et al have better things to be doing to develop responses to crisis? 2) Can Trump possibly hold himself back for two hours from going into full campaign, assigning blame, etc mode? Brought to you by, Fox.
His twitter feed is bonkers even by Trump twitter feed questions. This crisis is decompensating him at an alarming rate. Republicans had a deal until Nancy Pelosi rode into town from her extended vacation. The Democrats want the Virus to win? They are asking for things that have nothing to do with our great workers or companies. They want Open Borders & Green New Deal. Republicans shouldn’t agree!— Donald J. Americans, running short of anything at home? Don't go out, all you have to do is get a Fox News anchor to say on air that it's the cure. The ******** In Chief will be organising airdrops within the hour.
Somehow Fox has to bring across the adulation to Trump virtually. This will be key item of virtual town hall or it is a waste of his time.
The ************************ is holding a campaign event as the country sickens. Imagine Barack Obama having a 2-hour Oprah adulation session, talking about his greatness and the evils of Republicans, as the ebola virus approaches. It never, ever stops. He is The Tackyassed Terminator.
This was Trump's chance to scrape his way out of position as the worst president in history. He's failed colossally.
