Maybe they will cancel euro 2020 all Together Portugal Will be euro champs For 8 years . I still hope Not because I was looking forward to the tournament and believe we have a great chance of winning again.
I hope they don't cancel it. With WC 2022 being played at the end of the year instead of at winter, it does leave space for a summer tournament in 2021. I think it will move till then. We will see....
Obviously, like all of us, i was looking forward to a summer full of soccer and hopefully another championship to celebrate. This will not be the case, but, i dont think its the worst thing in the world either. It gives guys a handful of our guys either time to regain their form or for some younger players to make a name for themselves. The downside to this? Ronaldo will be 1 year older and he has already slown down significantly. How do you all view this postponement? It was obviously gonna happen, and rightfully so, but for the NT, is this more of a positive or negative from your view point?
More of a positive, imo Felix , Bruno fernandes, Ruben dias, Sanches, Trincao, etc all get another year under their belt.
Yeah, i kind of agree with this too. Looking at our potential starting line up in a years time, a lot of our guys are who they are going to be. I dont see Cancelo, Semedo, Guerreiro, Danilo, William, Bernardo, etc really becoming anything more than they are now.. but you're right.. guys like Sanches, Trincao, Dias, Felix, Bruno and even guys like Neves and Jota still have time/room to become something more than they are in this moment.. so, i definitely view this as a potential positive. Although, tournament experience can never be underestimated and it could have been very beneficial for them to have encountered that this year too.
Yes. Most online sources are saying this is bad for Portugal because Ronaldo will be 36 (as if that makes a big difference as opposed to 35) but they refuse to look beyond Ronaldo when it comes to Portugal. don’t forget Trincao will be on Barca. Also William has struggled with injury this season and he is a important player of the Team.
Forgot to ask, but do you coach ? Or have you played the game at a high level? You seem to know what you are talking about.
To me it looks like a poor photo I'd like to see it worn in game before I make any judgement. Look at the colour of the Nike logo it is clearly off.
Nah it's good its just a piss poor amateur job photo shoot, Contrast is clearly off that's why it looks like polo shirt material. Will probably end up being our best kit since 2000 - 2002
I’m not even sure now about green shorts since our most successful kit has been red shorts Euro 16 and Nations league or I’m just superstitious, And I wanted the green shorts back then
When our team wore green shorts before we didn’t have an established goat cr7. I think that is more of a logical explanation. The kit looks 100 percent better with green shorts they should have never changed it . Lately they at least paired the red shorts with green socks but the all red from 2006-2008 and 2012 was terrible .
Best kit for Portugal was back in 2018 in Russia or even scratch that, 2014 kits were awesome But in all seriousness do I think Portugal can repeat as back to back Euro Champions? It is possible but seeing the group draw Portugal is in next summer; they have World Cup Champions France in their group and Germany a former World champion also in their group; group is a group of Death add whatever team comes out of the Playoff in EURO qualifying
Eduardo Quaresma a young CB to keep tabs on. I rate him highly. Sporting turned down a bid from AC Milan.
