Euroleague just did. No more euro hoops. Several players say they'll just go on strike if they had to play forced the League's hand.

Worth a shot in the right wing given how dire that spot has been

Why not I guess, but he’s just not a great winger when you look at his strengths and glaring weaknesses.

Asensio is completely predictable and easy to defend down the right, he offers none of what we need from our wingers. Would rather give Brahim the time on that side.

He would be our best goal scorer. Also under Zidane he is playing much better.

Asensio is even more inconsistent than Isco and Benzema.

Yeah, he can score a crazy goal with that left foot but primarily he is a ghost.

Hopefully by the time we return, Benzema is rested and back to his 2019 form or Jovic us settled and scores bucketloads in subs to force Zidane's hand.

    Agreed.

IMO his biggest problem is that he doesn't have a main position in which he excels. He's not a winger, he's not a striker, he's not an SS, i don't know what he is.

My opinion on Marco remains the same , not a winger, as you’ve noted, comes across just like Gareth, disappears out there on the right for long stretches of games before “maybe” coming up with something spectacular

Anyone know anyway to get retro jerseys? I am specifically trying to get a CR7 2011-12 away jersey in medium and can't find it anywhere that's not a ridiculous price like 300 dollars. Even if you guys know somewhere where you can buy retro letters I would appreciate that.

You'll need to wait for an offer to go up. These things rarely materialise exactly when you want them, unless the shirt is a fake.

Have we signed a new deal with Adidas already? Because they're being hammered between refusing to pay rent for stores and now letting go of employees and not paying advertisement agencies.

They've been bathing in negativity, so I wonder how that would effect their funds in cutting us a new deal.

I just hope Adidas pays back brand loyalty the way we've shown it. Because their current image is pathetic to say the least.

Watching the 2014 CL final, La Decima & drinking beers.

Completely forgot Cointhrow started at LB for us.

    Excited to re-watch this!

He had a very strong season for us. When Marcelo got injured he stepped up and put in some very important performances in big games in the final stretch for the season.

Yea he played well in the game, then Marcelo came on and had a huge impact too. I’m currently starting second half of ET. Still tied 1-1.

    What a f*cking game!!

Arda Turan was actually a good player back then, he was on the sidelines injured. Xabi suspended for us. Seeing Modric, Bale, Marcelo, Carvajal at their athletic prime makes me realize how long these guys have been serving this club. Bale was so explosive back then, had a fairly good game but man missed so many big chances, thankfully scored the winning goal! di Maria = beast

The Isco sub was huge too. Carlo made some big calls in this game. Varane over pepe, cointhrow over Marcelo...

    Yeah, amazing game.

I don’t think Marcelo was fit to start the final otherwise would have. Coentrao played both games against Bayern didn’t he, and was good.

Yes he did and assisted the Benz goal at home.

Edit - I also reached the final recently and forgot how many chances Bale missed, he legit could or rather should have scored 2 goals in regular time.
