Others should take his lead. Gabbiadini: "I too tested positive for Coronavirus. I want to thank all those who wrote to me, I already received many messages. I want to reassure you that I'm fine, don't worry. Follow the rules, stay home and it'll all get sorted out." https://t.co/I8AV9XCpEu— Football Italia (@footballitalia) March 12, 2020

The increase in newly infected people in Italy is finally starting to become linear instead of exponential tho. The measures seem to be effective.
So far in the netherlands: 801 infected, 10 deaths. Most infections are in my city.. I got almost in a fight with a colleague today. He claimed to feel ill and was coughing so I called him a selfish idiot for coming to work anyway. Tested or not... if you’re not well STAY HOME
You did the right thing! My younger sister lives in the Netherlands. I am really worried, hoping that things will not get out of control.
If you want my honest opinion.. The Dutch mentality will make sure it gets spread everywhere here. Colleagues, friends, social media... everyone says it’s nothing serious, just another flu. Nothing to worry about, blabla. People in this country always tend to believe nothing will ever happen to them...
Hey, do what that Dutchman the Iceman does, hold your breath and jump in freezing water he claims it helps boost your immune system. Might be worth a shot given the hysteria out there. https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn26102-three-ways-the-iceman-controls-his-immune-system/ Imagine they run a story on this guy. How many people will follow his lead?
Germán Pezzella and Patrick Cutrone have been found positive to Coronavirus. 🔴— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) March 14, 2020
This is getting crazy! My cousin in Abruzzo told me no one is going outside and they are all staying indoors. I don’t ever remember anything like this. I moved to Italy immediately during the aftermath of 9-11-2001 and there was nothing like this. Coronavirus in Serie A - Fiorentina, positivi Cutrone e Pezzella - Pianeta Milan
We are actually lucky though with this one... Remember black death? Yeah it could've been much worse... most people will survive this virus. Stay positive
More people die of the flue each year because more people are infected by the flu. If you infect the same amount of people with Corona you have an exponentially higher amount of deaths. You may be young and healthy but what about the elderly and the sick who have a much higher chance of dying if they contract this? As human beings we have a responsibility to look out for these people. If we don't, and we are to look at this as a "social experiment" that's a pretty selfish way of living your life. I don't think the overpacked hospitals in places that are hit hard by this are part of some "social experiment". It's very easy to view it this way until it's in front of your eyes or affects someone you love.
Nope, It's the result of the overload on the available IC units. People unfortunately died because of IC beds/respiration facilities occupied. I dunno if it had influence, but the Chinese gouvernment had special corona hospitals built in a few weeks.
It's not just there, it's just humanity as a whole. People don't care about things until it affects them personally. They don't care that people are dying as long as it doesn't inconvenience them. Most people live in a place free of war, violence, and disasters so to imagine something like this is impossible for them. Then once it affects them, they panic and complain that more wasn't done. Hopefully this all goes away soon, even though it looks like it won't. The sad part is that if it does go away soon (even though that would be great), people will view this as having been an overreaction when the reality is that if it the virus was not stopped it would have exterminated millions of people. Then when the next virus comes along that has potential to kill 10% or 20% of the population, people will remember Corona and think "that wasn't too bad" (even though their oppinion is based on zero research and a mentality that the news tries to make people afraid even though those same people get all of their information from the news) and try to make sure they are not inconvenienced for no reason again and then a 500 million people are wiped out. I just hope the world learns from this. Humans are a sad species.
