Good to see him getting trust from the coach, he can be a real good player if he gets a chance.

No goals or assists tonight, but he's playing with tons of confidence. Best I've seen him since his Tolima days.

    Campuzano was very solid, too.

For some reason I never include Fabra in my reviews. I guess because he's usually solid.

Very happy to hear that the Colombian trio are playing well at Boca.

We need some good news heading into Qualifying even if it is not big news. Every little bit of good news adds up to me.

Another interesting note: Villa played mostly the left side in those highlights. I don't remember him doing much of that before.

Love that long touch he takes to get loose here. He's doing a lot of these to get free from the first defender a lot. A sign that he's really confident at the moment.

Sometimes when he runs with the ball his touches are like M'bappe galloping down the field.
I wish he had his shooting ability too.:ROFLMAO:

It's crazy that he wasn't used much previously at Boca. Good time for him to be getting confident and playing well, should have a real good shot at getting into the team for us now.

A lot of journalists have alluded to off-field stuff being an issue for the squad, especially for the Colombians. Even so, a lot of times when he did play he was average to below average last year.

I've looked at the clip of the assist multiple times. He was able to run 3/4 of the field with only 5 touches on the ball before passing it. Galloping is such an accurate word.

More than average he wasnt used in a proper way....alfaro attacked with very few people....and villa was affected because the lack of confidence of the coach

Similar to campuzano and fabra. Alfaro should retire even from gol caracol
