You lot clearly aren't eating enough. How do you expect to fill the stadium after all that outdoor exercising and trail mix? #XLfanhood
15% death rate is way high. Throwing out numbers like that without strong evidence is only going to panic people. If the actual death rate is in that range we should be at Marshall Law in attempting to control the spread.
I think he is saying 15% of the most fragile population, old people and those with other health issues. Not 15% of the general population.
I spent way too long figuring out what the University of Illinois at Chicago's John Marshall Law School had to do with a viral outbreak. Then I remembered there's a John Marshall Law School in Atlanta (unrelated to the one in Chicago), and that they filmed some of "The Walking Dead" in Atlanta, so maybe that was the connection. So then I went to Google, and it turns out there's also a Marshall Law School in Cleveland and another one in Newark (John Marshall is a very popular man after whom to name your law school, apparently). Upon further reflection, it turns out you probably meant "martial law," which is totally different. Spelling and capitalization are important, y'all. Even on the internet.
And for additional clarity, the prediction is that 15% of people in those groups who contract COVID will die, not that 15% of everyone in those groups will die (unless every member was exposed to corona and contracted COVID).

That may jump for their next home game. They've won 2 of 3 and yesterday's game was the best in the XFL so far.

I sort of hesitate to go to Galaxy games that are 7pm kick offs on Sundays. I can see a lot of people deciding to go to some other XFL Wildcat home game rather than last night. I guess TV dictates their kick off times just like MLS. On another note, the Indian Wells tennis tournament was cancelled.
So if games are played in empty stadiums due to the virus, how are they officially going to score attendance for the game...0? N/A? Act like it never happened for total/average game attendance?
I saw the 25518 for Portland listed in the box score on the app. Is this a typo or did they sell 300 more tickets than usual?
Good question. They may be tempted to report ticket sales/giveaways for a closed game (tickets distributed). But they'll either have to pay refunds or schedule make up matches. The Crew used to include a postseason match in their season ticket packages. If we made the playoffs, the first game started off with good sales. If we missed the playoffs, we got a hastily scheduled friendly against whoever in Central America was available and cheap. I've seen Tecos and Communicaciones that way.
