I have no idea if she has any money. What I do know is what I might do if she would have scammed me out of my money. File in small claims on my own out of principle. No lawyer needed (no offense to the wonderful lawyers out there).
Some people have been known to file a police report for theft, and some jurisdictions have been known to bring theft charges in instances like this. In those cases, the criminal court may order restitution, and require that restitution be paid before fines and costs.
You know, we think we had problems with a scoreboard fire? A team in Germany had to cancel games because a beaver dam flooded their stadium.... https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/biber-arger-tsg-bad-konig-staudamme-rasenplatz-gabfaf/
Didn’t know where exactly to post this so here seems like a good enough place... https://www.prosoccerusa.com/mls/ma...urce=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf what’s everyone opinion on the offseason? I’m always ready for the Crew to come back by February (especially after seasons without playoffs) but starting earlier and/or ending later don’t really feel like legitimate options for us. February games seem like a non starter to me and November/December games were palatable because of the heighten stakes of the playoffs but not ideal if they’re regular season type games. Plus the Nov/Dec international breaks just make last years schedule work out so well. Playoffs lose their steam if there’s too many breaks.
The winter tourney isn't a bad idea.... But to be fair, I do not mind the offseason length either. Oh, well, it's not like my opinion actually, you know, matters to MLS....
I ordered it and got it the other day. Seems like a pretty high quality shirt. The color is more of a darker mustard color instead of the usual yellow but I still like it.
Can't they just move CONCACAF Champions Cup? That really sounds like that's the only issue is MLS poor performance in these early matchups.
In case this hasn't popped up somewhere else already: Much more than a hashtag The real story of how a group of fans rallied a city, pushed Major League Soccer into a corner and helped save a team. https://www.bizjournals.com/columbu...w-a-group.html?iana=hpmvp_colum_news_headline
Random question for the random stuff thread: I enter the lot via the SW entrance (Korbel) and leave via the SE entrance (by McDonald's.) There was one exception last year when I was on a VIP list and had to enter the north entrance. Years ago, if someone entered the south entrances and paid cash, it was $10. If someone paid cash at the north entrance, it was a bit higher. I assume these different entrances have been the same price for a number of years now or are they still getting extra money from the saps who enter via the north?
I'm apparently a sap because I've only ever entered off of Hudson and never paid different than the known parking rate.
Yeah, that came out of a conversation I was having with someone that caused me to remember when the cash rate was a few bucks higher for "West Preferred" which is what the area between the ditch and tracks used to be called, but apparently it's all the same now. And really, it seemed a bit ridiculous to charge more, considering that anyone could enter via any entrance and park wherever they pleased, outside the VIP or what's now the B lot.
A writer asked me today if he could quote from this piece I wrote in 2017. To be honest, it was the hardest piece I ever wrote and I thought I'd link to it just because. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/chuck.2065746/
I miss your pieces on FIFA and CONCACAF corruption. I feel like folks have taken their eye off the ball here.
I read your piece at the time. Just re-read it. As evidenced by the eloquence of so many of your posts, it's a disservice to BS that you don't write more blogs.
