Regardless of what people think of Meola , that is a pretty top notch local broadcasting Crew by MLS standards .

According to people who heard him in Phoenix, he seems to be pretty good and well-loved.

If Terens is the guy I listened to the 2-3 times I watched Phoenix matches on ESPN+ last year, he's pretty good. Much higher quality than most of the announcers you'll hear on the lower divisions.

I liked Meola on World Cup broadcasts, and obviously getting Arlo White for the summer games is a huge coup. It's not every day you get a network's lead Premier League play by play guy to moonlight during the summer for your MLS team.

As a Sporting KC fan, this crew will be far better to listen to than Nate Bukaty and their new analyst who grossly overuses the word "there" in his analysis (granted, it was his first game, so I'm hoping he will improve).

  8. Meola is my favorite analyst. He'll tell you exactly why something worked/didn't work. And Arlo is a typical English announcer who lets the action breathe and doesn't step on the moment.

Terens is good. Followed the Rising the last two seasons (while Collin Fernandez was on the team). I think even the saltiest amongst us are going to be happy with his calls.

That sounds like a challenge, my friend!

We are a very salty lot indeed. With damn good reason. The Dead Sea has nothing on us.

After scientifically accumulating opinions here in the Northeast:

    Bou > Buska >>>>> Bunbury

However, I missed the game myself.

Gil has yet to make an appearance. Very dangerous player.

    Don't tell Wicky though, OK?

    Regards,

    Kevin

A glimpse of the Fire's new mascot "Salty" as part of the re-brand. Yes, he is a bit crabby as well.

Sooo...no survey this game? I go with Fire 2 Revs 2 though I hate the Revs more then any other team in the league. I am not convinced Fire are quite there yet without some of those new guys.

Frankowski is questionable. If he plays Fire win by one. If he doesnt, tie

I would like to see the fire get more possession.
