Is anyone venturing out to watch the game somewhere? Other than Endeavor, any places planning on showing the match? (And have audio?)
I have friends that watch pretty much every away game at Parson's North. I've been there a few times and will vouch for its atmosphere - though the lack of a kitchen is a automatic 2-point deduction on the classic scale for me. There is also the new place this year: Pub Mahone. I don't know anything at all about this joint other than they're all over the social medias about their Crew watch parties and they seem to give away a lot of free stuff. Those are the only two places that come to mind - other than Endeavor and Land Grant - when I've considered where to watch away games this year. I'll probably wind up at Parson's North a few times just out of ease and familiarity. Although parking does suck. Maybe I'll start a group of people that watches away matches at TGI Fridays. It would be so much easier.
Gemüt Biergarten made a point on social media several weeks ago of saying they'd be showing all Crew (and Bayern Munich) games, but as I've never actually watched a soccer match there, I can't confirm anything.
Someone said Pointe Tavern on Riverside Drive in Upper Arlington will be another place to watch the game.
Dublin Crew Cats are watching at the new Roosters at Sawmill/270. Not sure about the audio though. I’m staying home and more than likely falling asleep before the final whistle. Place you bets on if that’s the 1st or 2nd half final whistle. A little insider knowledge, my dogs woke me up at 5:15 am.
For some reason mine waited until 6:15 I'm no good at napping but I'm going to give it a shot this afternoon. Im so jealous of people who can just shut thier eyes and fall asleep.
I think I’ll nap and wake up at 10pm and if i don’t ,watch Im the morning. Hulu has DVR , the spectrum streaming service does not correct ?
By the way... I’d like to thank Major League Soccer and the National Hockey League for scheduling both Columbus teams on the west coast on the same night with simultaneous start times. This is one of those nights where I have to stack DVDs up to cover the bottom of my screen so I can watch one game and not blow the score of the other.
Why go to a bar just take the tv out your room put it in the living room and watch both ! I have had 3 TVs going on my wife hated it too MLS is stupid to have a March game in Seattle at 7pm it’s cold usually and even colder at night so a 1pm (4est) would make a lot more sense
This might help. I haven't tried it but others say it works. https://www.artofmanliness.com/articles/fall-asleep-fast/
I still wouldn't be surprised if he didn't travel. Not injured but was limited during the week and playing on turf.
