Not sure if we even need this thread, but the 2.0 one has almost 6,400 replies, so I thought I would create a new one. Link below is to a post from US Soccer laying out the structure of the upcoming 2019-2020 DA season. This thread is for more structural, theoretical, philosophical big-picture things. We have the individual season threads to discuss player performance, match reports, etc. http://www.ussoccerda.com/20190307-NEWS-DA-Four-New-Clubs-to-Join-Boys-DA-for-201920-Season Version 1.0 thread here. Version 2.0 thread here.
Interesting. I thought when RSL moved back to Utah they might actually get worse because of losing the AZ talent base, but I see they have plans about that.
Love how LAFC has approached it over the last couple of years. They've really invested at the young levels, and it shows based on their U15 performance this season. Next year taking another step to the U17s. Step by step build. I'd love to actually have an LAFC fan on these boards to tell us about some of these kids.
‘19-20 LAFC U17 players have been pretty well scouted in the DA thread. @ussoccer97531 and @ChuckMe92 know most of their roster pretty well
Just U13 and U14 for now, but a USL club joining the DA. NEWS: Phoenix Rising is excited to announce its acceptance into @ussoccer_da!DETAILS: https://t.co/uB5Y9ktDqu #RisingTogether pic.twitter.com/xrcELt5vCJ— Phoenix Rising FC (@PHXRisingFC) March 6, 2020
