dunno why we care what the fxck they choose to pay that trash either. sadly for Lingard we can't afford to carry passengers now. everyone needs to be a high level contributor
x2 It's up to him to make it happen though (with Raiola in his corner, it just might also). United will probably be looking to sign him to a new contract, as is their custom in those situations. Big fan of the guy and would love to see regain his form but it does not likely right now. He needs a fresh start and I see no reason why he wouldn't be successful abroad.
1235814870819328003 is not a valid tweet id What an utter ********. Hope they get identified and prosecuted, especially if that's a racist slur in there too.
I didnt hear a racist slur personally. I also dont think that abuse is THAT bad. All they are saying is he's shit.
I said prosecuted when I meant banned. My bad. Besides it being sufficiently shitty and over the line to shout personal abuse 10 yards away from the bus, at your own player, after a match we won... I'm pretty sure he shouts "you're dead" at one point? I think it's one thing to be pissed off at a player and shout from way up in the stands, it's shitty behaviour if you're in earshot during a match, and it's way out of order if you're standing 10 yards away, waiting outside the team bus to pile on him. I listened out specifically for racism this time - I think the guy using the n word isn't being abusive and is possibly calling out to Scott McTominay.
Pretty much akin to the Pogba situation last season when he was mercilessly abused by a section of the fans at the end of a game, when he came to greet them. At the end of the day, those guys are human beings and the fact that they are professional athletes, are millionaires or what have you, doesn't give anyone the right to speak to them in that fashion, especially when they are within earshot of it. It's vile stuff and the 'fans' responsible for such behavior need to be banned at minimum. Those people don't have the first clue on how to act like decent human beings. As we saw once again with the Dier incident, if a player reacts and decides to confront those kind of people (when he was defending a family member), he surely will suffer the consequences for it. It's not right, nor there should be any reason that the people who obviously look to trigger such reactions from the players should be allowed to get away with it scot free either. This is just abhorrent.
The irony? Jesse had a slow start, but he was pretty good against Derby. Lots of progressive runs, 2 or 3 shots inside the box, almost his normal press and some decent link up play. Not his best, but certainly better than he's been in a while.
These guys are f-cking wankers. While his form has been poor, his family issues this season are well documented and there is no need to abuse him like this.
The thing that was equally disappointing is that no other "supporters" told those assholes to shut the fck up. He's kind of a social media douche off the pitch, but that was complete and utter bullshit.
Manchester United announced they are investigating which considering we were playing away makes me think they were United supporters. https://www.espn.com/soccer/manches...man-united-launch-lingard-video-investigation
agreed. i don't put it above some of our fans. i think United fans in recent times have been unfair and over the top in their criticisms of some players but this is a whole new level if they are indeed United fans. even if you want the guy gone that's not acceptable
Especially after a win. United had just won in good fashion over Derby and all this idiot cares about is Jesse? That’s not a fan.
If there is racism, that needs to be handle. But outside of that... you can't call a shit player shit anymore?
Perfectly summed up here: there is a difference between critical of ones performances and being outright nasty or disrespectful... Criticism of performances is fine, but there’s a line and too often it’s being crossed. pic.twitter.com/SiTg1eGr5H— 🔰 Flex 🔰 (@FlexUTD) March 6, 2020 Continued.... pic.twitter.com/HxXIDnFOce— 🔰 Flex 🔰 (@FlexUTD) March 6, 2020
You don't shout it in their face, no. Come on, man. Human ********ing decency. When you're up that close to one of your own players, well within earshot, you're not calling a player shit, you're shouting abuse at a person. You expect it from opposition fans and you block it out, knowing it's just them trying to get to you. But when it's one of your own fans? Come on.
I did not see they shouted in his face. Are we talking actually in their face or walking by? Also this is the club that has had fans stand outside of people's houses, threatening this. This stuff is a picnic in comparison.
5, 10 yards away may as well be in their face. I don't understand what your point is. Some other people did something even more unacceptable, therefore this unacceptable thing is now fine? Come on man. You spent too long reading Teso's shit.
