So happy for him. He decided the biggest game in Europe. Wow. He’s the truth. I don’t want to be keeping saying it but I really didn’t want us to pay 110M in hazard and show patience with him. Now when (if) hazard is fit Vin will be on the bench again. Sigh.
1 - Vinícius Júnior (19 years and 233 days) has become the youngest player to score in #ElClásico in @LaLigaEN in the 21st century, breaking the record previously held by Lionel Messi in March 2007 (19y 259d). Explosion. pic.twitter.com/cUnEb3tmeR— OptaJose (@OptaJose) March 1, 2020
His effort is his biggest strength. He just doesn't give up, he will try 19 times and fail, and will try again. Its cosmic justice that he will get the lucky bounce on the 20th attempt. Other better players have the same output by trying less. But thats completely irrelevant, and I would actually rather have him because his energy rubs off his teammates. His work ethic is exemplary.
He's beginning to cement his starting spot, but I don't see Hazard being sold. For me the question is what to do with Bale, Vasquez and Asensio on the right? Rodrigo is obviously there for the long term, but not a starter.
ZZ ideally wants Pogba so he could replace Isco in today's midfield. Though I don't see it happening unless Pogba's price drops to 60 ME or sth. Or he needs to have a great Euro 2020 to convince Flo to pay big money.
I'm thinking Cristiano met the guys before the match then after it. I'm sure he came to inspire and he did. Miss Cristiano.
The Cristiano goal celebration should be mentioned. Nobody can claim Vinicius doesn't want to be successful or work hard enough at it.

I think the ref (Lahoz) wanted to make an example out of Vinicius for his comments midweek about the club's mistreatment at the hand if these officials. It was so much on the nose the entire match. The quick yellow, the constantly and openly forgiving of barca fouls or assaults and then the staring down of a teenager to show who is boss.
I have a few premier league friends that never watch Madrid but they tuned in for the first leg and the Clasico. They came out of those matches with one take: they were shocked at the dynamism and danger of Vinicius
The moment he was staring Vin down just begging to give him that second yellow, what a **************** that Lahoz is. Someone seems to always ref the Clasico’s.
This was inclusive Vinícius’s third yellow in La Liga, him can play in the next match?Until now i not seen any website announcing his eventual suspension.
Lahoz simply made a show about everything and wanted to be the star of the show. It was the same with Iturralde. The man officiated like the people came to watch him instead of the match.
Lahoz running over to Vin with crazy eyes goading Vin into reacting was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen in officiating. The guy should be suspended for that. As an official, I welcomed the criticism and the conversation. These guys want to be dictators. Like I've said before, it's either fixed or incompetence.
Vinicius has the talent to be top 3/top 5 wingers for the next decade along with Sane,Sancho,Gnabry ,he just have to learn how to shoot
King of deflected goals! Haha. As long as we are winning. But keep working Vini, you'll get there. Oh... and expect him to be "rested" the next few games as a reward for the good game against Barça, lol.
AS: Vinicius will apply for citizenship in the summer. As a native of a country in Ibero-America, VJ (who arrived at Madrid in July 2018) is allowed to apply for citizenship after just two years of residence in Spain. pic.twitter.com/JRQgUSlbD3— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) March 3, 2020
