i m happy for Nova. Playing in Italy is not easy. I m sure he's gotten more technical from this experience. I wonder if he will get call up.

Sounds and looks like Nova is hitting his stride. It takes a minute to get settled and learn how to play against Italian defenses. I hope it’s a sign of more things to come. God knows we need strikers who score.
I have serious doubts about his ability to step up when the opponents are faster/smarter but striker is a black hole for us so give him a shot.
He's still on loan from Reading, right? Transfermarkt shows his contract being up this summer, so maybe he can make a permanent move to Frosinone and end up in Serie A next year.
Now I see it. I guess Transfermarkt was saying that he was under contract at Reading until this summer when he transferred to Reading.
Last summer he finished with 9 goals and 2 assists in 2353' for one of the worst Eredivisie teams. Now he has 3G/5A in 1259' for one of the best Serie B teams. I'd say last season is still better than this.
Not quite apples to apples. Frosinone (and Serie B) is a little bit more defensive-minded. 31 goals scored, 19 allowed in 26 matches, in a league averaging 2.49 goals per match. Fortuna scored 50, allowed 80 in 34 matches, in a league that averaged 3.47 goals per match. All things being held equal, you'd expect better top-line numbers from a forward on that terrible Fortuna team. Nova doing it in a first division is probably more impressive, but Serie B isn't the goalfest that the Eredivisie is.

If you want to watch some Nova magic, try here. PS: Livorno, who are last on the Serie B table, score early in the second. 2-1. So far in the second, Di Gennaro has disappeared Nova. He's done a good job of getting to the ball before him, or taking it from him right away.
Nova just earned a soft PK. Dionisi scores, 2-2. The interplay was between Nova and Dionisi inside their area, and Nova got four guys around after Dio couldn't shoot. Someone touched him, but it was soft. Still, they got the tie.
Nova is lanky, which makes him fast. For some reason, the Serie B defenses live in fear of him. Today with Di Gennaro shadowing him all game Livorno managed a lot of attack. But since Dionisi came in, Frosinone has been exploiting spaces well and they are finally seeing Nova's runs, and that scares them. IMO, they fear him more than he deserves, because of his physical characteristics. --- Awua challenges late in midfield, fouling Nova and getting a yellow. Nova is pulling back a bit, to keep him close to Dio and Zampano, the guys who keep creating something. Also, his runs have been ok this game. It's something where I can see improvement since his Sittard days.
