Saturday, 11 am MST • Audi Stadium, DC Sorry I couldn't come up with something better in the tag line. Also, can't believe this thread hasn't been started yet. Story lines for me in this match: • How integrated will Namli be with his teammates? • How close are the Rapids to being able to playing the style Fraser has been working to instill? • Will the defense struggle as it seemed to in preseason friendlies? • How will the Rapids adjust to the travel. A week ago they were in LA at this time. They spent the last week in Commerce City and now they are in DC. • Will the pitch at Audi field be a factor? The XFL has been playing on it and it appears that it's not in prime condition. • What are the odd I will actually make it to the Celtic to see the match?

I'll be pitch side for the game with another Rapids refugee. I see a 1-0 Rapids win, DC is in flux after loosing Rooney, Acosta and Arriola. Great chance for Rapids road points.
Looks like a sizeable patch of fresh sod in the middle of the pitch -- unlikely to be well rooted in this time of year. Crookham w/ Fleming on the pre-match broadcast.
Agree. 2-1 Rapids win. Shinyashiki as starter isn't so surprising given is presence in preseason. He may be connecting with Namli in practice and scrimmages more than others. Trusty not in there is surprising. Danny Wilson...

Well, I guess that's how it's going to go. Unless you do a VPN or are willing navigate all the popups, no Rapids on non DirecTV. Amazing it has gone this far. The Nuggets and Avs have lost a season, was that really worth it for Altittude?
Well, promising season for Rapids is downgraded by lack of options to actual watch the game. KSE giviths and taketh Away.
For those of you that can't see the match you frankly are not missing too much -- looks like teams from a league that plays through the summer w/ a match in February. Also if I'm not mistaken Fleming and Crookham are also watching on 'TV' but maybe better headsets? ;>) D.C. goal just saved by late (headset?) offside flag.
DC with one goal called offsides and a second massive chance saved by Irwin heroics. after a slightly more dominant Rapids beginning to the game, DC is now picking up the attack quite a bit.
Namli has a great first touch. Shinyashiki looks like he's lost a step in the off season but it's game 1. Abubakar still in the right place at the right time like last year. So far, so good...except the 0 goals.
Namli looks very good, Vines looks like he's made some serious strides, Shinyashiki and Nicholson are playing well. Defense is solid if a bit over-aggressive at times. Kamara looks kind of old and slow-- hopefully that's just February rust. Acosta once again not finding much of the game.
Was it more than whatever the write off of this season is worth? With a month left in the Avs/Nuggets seasons, it would seem that's it for demand until next October. I have no doubt Altitude is in a spot, they're not one of those RSN's multiple markets. Well, real multiple markets (sorry New Mexico).
