Aubameyang misses a sitter in the 123rd! Think it was harder to miss. Arsenal out.

Aubameyang...from hero to zero in the space of ten minutes. Missed the wide open advancing goal...

All 4 Portuguese clubs exit the EL this round! :sneaky:

Kinda amazing since all 4 got decent first-leg results.

I’m happy that LPB lost. Barca can at least win the league title instead of going trophyless

Two Spain v Italy matchups in the EL to go along with Barca v Napoli.
Inter v Getafe, with first leg presumably behind closed doors.
    Sevilla v Roma.

Coutinho isn't so bad for Bayern. 8 goals and 6 assists in 21 matches isn't lighting the world on fire but it's pretty good.

Liverpool have looked awful lately! Bad time of the season to encounter your first issues.

    Edit: wow! 3-nil Watford now.

Liverpool is just suffering from fatigue and they won EPL already. Why push to get 110 points and have players injured for CL. I'll believe they're in trouble if Atleti eliminates them. Till then nah...

That’s what Liverpool fans are trying to believe.

Not so sure. They’ve played the same # of games as everyone else that is still playing in Europe.

Yea they played same number of matches as everyone but they've expended plenty of energy to win 26 of 27 league matches. They have a huge 22 point lead in the league and they should chill out now because nobody can catch them. In fact I'd be surprised if they don't start heavily rotating around CL fixtures. Every match for them in the PL is like a friendly right now. Doubt their players care if they lose to Watford today or not and why should they.

Well, I thnk they care. Doesn’t hurt to be remembered as the best team in Premier League history. But yeah, not the most important thing. Trophies matter more, of course.

But besides that, you don’t want to go flat at this point in the season.

Don’t buy the fatigue because they’ve only played 4 games in 4 weeks. Were crap in all 4 games BTW.

What a stupid decision from the ref, that was not offside and he didn't disturb De Gea! Weak!

Another Howler for VAR! Even worse because the call on the field was a goal.

No idea why Kloop decided to field a lineup that is quite far from Liverpool's strongest for an away match v Chelsea.

I get it - the league is their #1 priority (even though you just got smoked by Watford in the league). But guess what? You clinched the league in December. How about adding to that now?

    so no treble?
    no invincible season?

meh I thought this was the greatest team of the century a double seems like a mediocre season (only 2 out of 4 possible major trophies)...

Losing in 3 main competitions (EPL, CL and FA) within 2 weeks is pretty cool. Terrible instead of treble.
