We should really try getting Halaand this summer. And even he may not be enough. What I like about Halaand is that he has scored many goals in the Premier competition of Europe, the UCL against many top sides like Liverpool, PSG, Napoli. Maybe we should also look at Immobile. We need to be looking at goal scorers.

 

If we lose to Barca the season is over in which case I personally don’t give a shit who plays anymore.

I tried to reply some of the comments here, but I told myself that Zidane won't last if we lost to Barcelona this weekend. That will be three matches in a row. I am not saying that I want him to go. I am just reading the situation and ask myself if he can last.

If we don't get humiliated against Barcelona and City then there won't be any sacking or resignation.

Zidane is the absolute opposite of what we need. We need somebody who'll cut away the roots and deadweights.
Zidane could turn around the season and win UCL + La Liga. Would still be the wrong man for next season.

Players that should be perma benched or sold: Marcelo, Carvajal, Modric, Bale , Benzema , Isco, James.

We need somebody to give a proper chance and integrate (Reguilon?), Militao, Hakimi, Odegaard, Vinicius, Jovic, Rodrygo alongside with a few new signings.

 

All of this blame on Zidane being wedded to players is partly disingenuous. He tried to move on James and Bale, but they didn't want to leave or it was blocked as the terms were extremely unfavourable for the club.
Marcelo expressed a strong desire to stay and wouldn't have moved on.

In saying that, I do still think that our transfer policy needs adjustment and this summer we will need to sign some proven talent to collaborate with the sheer amount of youth that we have bought in. There are revenue ramifications for a club of our size and global reach if we fail to win anything noteworthy for successive seasons.

 

For me, Marcelo, Modrić, Bale, Isco and James need to be sold. While Carvajal needs to accept back-up role. The second question is Varane. I dislike what i am seeing. As such back-up. Benzema also needs to be phased out as a back-up or even be sold. To be honest, i would also sell Hazard and invest in Mbappe and Haaland.

He has good moments yes but even in one of his best seasons for us , he still isnt world class in terms of goals per games. He scores around 20 a year. That is Lukaku-like.

And yes I know Benz is far better than Lukaku but this is Madrid and we should have the best wingers or strikers. And what we have is unproven talents that seldom play and hasbeens.

 

I wonder what Perez is thinking about the clubs collapse in the past 2 seasons,he cant still believe this shit that we have "the best squad"" in the world and the best coach.

We're laughing at Barcelona because they count small trophies when they say they won more trophies than we did, but know 'fans' like you do the same thing. Last year we lost all important trophies, and if things doesn't change it will happen again.

 

What has laughing at Barcelona because they count those small trophies to do with saying that we are playing bad and we won't win on sunday if we play like yesterday? Again, think what you want, I really don't care that some dude on a freaking football forum is going to give me a 'hard time' when we win

 

Why are people calling for Modric to be sold? He had a good performance as did most of the midfield for much of the match.

It's the same as when we last won the CL: the midfield is fine, the defense is mostly fine, we just dont score.

 

Who is gonna score goals for us guys. Anyone know yet?
